Display Quality
The RealMe GT 2 Pro comes with a 10bit 6.70-inches LTPO 2.0 120Hz display with a resolution of 1440 x 3216 pixels and picks the brightness of 1400 nits while this is HDR10+ ready panel.
On the front, it has Corning Gorilla Glass Victus while on the back too has glass, and the frame is made out of Aluminium.
As this is an LTPO display, it will save a lot of battery life because it can go from 1Hz to 120hz, depending on what you’re doing on the screen which is a rare feature to have in Rs 50,000 smartphone.

Realme has added widevine L1 support which means, you will be able to stream FHD+ content on all the OTA platforms. There is also HDR10+ support, so you will be able to watch HDR content too.
The display brightness is also good enough to use the smartphone outdoors, I mean, it has 1400 pick brightness.
Overall, as of now, RealMe GT 2 Pro has the best display for under Rs 50,000 in India after Motorola Edge 30 Pro (review). You will be more than happy with this display, I mean, you will love the screen.
Performance
The RealMe GT 2 Pro is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor and it runs on RealMe UI 3.0-based on Android 12 while RealMe has promised three OS updates and four years of security updates.
This way, the RealMe GT 2 Pro will get Android updates up to Android 15.
Now, as I have said in many smartphone reviews, the Snapdragon 888 processor was heating, now the same is happening with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1.
When it comes to real life, the phone doesn’t heat too much even while playing games but when you do thermal testing, the phone heats up a little bit.
The problem is not with a smartphone, it’s a chipset issue but here, it looks like, RealMe has handled this issue very well as if now, the phone is not heating too like IQOO 9 Pro 5G (review)
As I have said, Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 is a powerful processor, so there won’t be any kind of problem while playing mobile games, it will give you the best possible performance in every single game.

This is a flagship smartphone and even after that, RealMe has added tons of third-party apps which can be uninstalled but still, this is not the best user experience.
The device feels smooth and fast, so no issue with performance.
By the way, it also has 5G support and Realme has added 13 5G bands which include n1, n3, n5, n7, n8, n20, n28, n38 n40, n41, n66, n77, and n78.
Overall, for the price of Rs 49,999, can’t complain much, it is a powerful smartphone and it will give you powerful performance in every single area.
Cameras
The RealMe GT 2 Pro comes with a 50MP primary sensor which happens to have OIS support, a 50M ultra-wide lens, and a 3MP microscope sensor while there is a 32MP selfie shooter on the front.
The Rear cameras can shoot videos at [email protected], [email protected]/60fps, and [email protected]/60fps while the front can shoot at only [email protected]
Just like RealMe 9 Pro Plus 5G (review), RealMe has also added OIS in RealMe GT 2 Pro.
This means, the videos will come out smooth with the primary sensor but the same can’t be said for the ultra-wide sensor. There was no issue with dynamic range or even with details, RealMe has optimized the ultra-wide as well primary sensor very well.
The color correction was also on point, it wasn’t like RealMe’s budget smartphone which is great, the colors are coming out close to natural.
When it comes to night or low light videos, here I felt, RealMe needs to work on it. It’s not like videos come out bad but sometimes, RealMe is trying to overexpose the videos which can be fix with OTA updates.

That’s the same case with front cameras too. No issue in daylight…
Coming to a 50MP primary sensor,
The images do come good, again no issue with dynamic range or even with the details, everything looks amazing. Even at night, Realme has done a great job.
Also that 50MP ultra-wide takes good quality images and as this is bigger sensor, the details are visible too. Now, the problem is, at night or when there is no good lighting, you might notice extra noise but if you’re not a camera nerd then you will be more than happy with night images too.
Now comes that 3MP macro sensor, here, there was no need for this sensor, RealMe should have added a telephoto lens but looks like they did some cost-cutting here.
Also, if you’re a fan of selfies, RealMe has added 32MP front cameras and it does take some good images, there won’t be any issue whats so ever.
Overall, considering the price and cameras. RealMe GT 2 Pro has good cameras and one should n complain about it, RealMe has done a great job and I think you will be more than happy with the quality.
Audio Quality
The RealMe GT 2 Pro has a stereo speaker which works fine, no issues there. Its dual speakers, so can’t complain much.
It also has a secondary noise cancellation microphone. There is also carrier aggregation support which will help a lot in calling.
As this is a flagship smartphone, there is no 3.5mm audio jack. You can use the TWS earbuds or buy Type-C to 3.5mm dongle for wired earphones.
Overall, the sound quality is good and there are no issues with call quality too.
Battery Life
The RealMe GT 2 Pro comes with a 5,000mAh battery with 65W fast charging support. The 65W charger will take about 33 minutes to charge from 0 to 100%.
The phone doesn’t have wireless charging support but RealMe has added a 65W charger in the box.
Overall, the battery should last for the day because of the processor but in the end, it depends on you, and how you use your smartphone every day.
Now, if you’re a heavy user then you will need to charge this smartphone two times a day.
You can also use the 65W charger, so even if the battery doesn’t last for a day then the charger will help a lot.

Verdict
If you’re okay with the RealMe brand then yes, RealMe GT 2 Pro is a worth and value money device but if you can’t pay 50k for the RealMe brand or you don’t trust the brand then you can also consider the Galaxy S21 FE 5G (review) which is available at 55k.
You can also consider the Motorola Edge 30 Pro which also has the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor and this is available at Rs 49,999 price tag.
Now, if you ask me, I would go with Motorola Edge 30 Pro (review) because of the stock Android but if you’re okay with RealMe UI then you should go with RealMe GT 2 Pro 5G.
Still, if you’re confused or have any kind of question then let me know in the comments, I would love to help you out…
