Best Smartphones Under Rs 50000
We have phones like Motorola Edge 30 Ultra 5G, Xiaomi 12 Pro 5G, Galaxy S21 FE 5G, iQOO 9T 5G, OnePlus 11R 5G, and even Nothing Phone 1 5G under Rs 50,000. So let’s see which one is the best for you.
Motorola Edge 30 Ultra 5G
PROS | Superfast Charging Support, Takes Reliable Daylight Images, Excellent Speakers, Powerful Processor, Clean Android Experience, Wireless Charging Support, 144Hz Smooth pOLED Display, Stereo Speakers, 13 5G Bands, |
CONS | Night Photography needs improvement, Lacks Waterproofing, |
If you’re looking for a smartphone under Rs 50,000 and want a stock Android experience, excellent 144Hz pOLED panel, super fast performance, solid battery life, and good-looking design, and if you can compromise a bit on the camera side of things then do consider the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra.
Now, the cameras are not that bad but the night photography needs lots of improvement.
So yes, low-light photography is the only downside otherwise, it’s a solid device at a solid price tag.
Xiaomi 12 Pro
PROS | 120Hz 10-bit LTPO AMOLED Display Brightest Display with Dolby Vision Powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC Impressive Cameras Superfast 120W Wired Charging Superfast 50W Wireless Charging Superb Audio Quality |
CONS | Front Camera Needs Improvement |
Xiaomi 12 Pro 5G was already a great smartphone when it was launched but back then it bit pricey Now, that’s not the case, you can get this device at Rs 49,999 which is the best price for what Xiaomi is offering.
Now, of course, the device does have its flaws but still, this is a value-for-money device. You’re getting the best cameras under 50k and solid build quality along with a spectacular LTOP AMOLED display.
There is also a whopping 50W wireless charging and 120W wired charging support. So if you’re okay with MIUI then go for it, you won’t be disappointed with your purchase.
Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G
PROS | 120Hz 2X AMOLED Display 1200 Nits of Pick Brightness Corning Gorilla Glass Victus Good Camera Setup Wireless Charging Support Great Cameras Stereo Speakers LPDDR 5 RAM Support |
CONS | Not the best option for gaming No Charger in the Box No 3.5mm Audio Jack |
The Exynos 2100 is not a powerful processor but for day-to-day usage and a little bit of gaming, it’s not a bad chip too.
In short, don’t buy Galaxy S21 FE 5G for gaming at all, it’s a good option for day-to-day usage.
The Galaxy S21 FE 5G was launched at Rs 54,999 price tag but now it is only available at Rs 34,999 which is great for what you’re getting.
Go for it, if you wanted the premium Samsung experience and if you’re not much into gaming.
iQOO 9T 5G
PROS | Best For Gaming 10-bit HRD10+ 120Hz AMOLED 120W superfast charging support Long Battery Life Powerful SD 8 Plus Gen 1 Processor Dual Speakers 3 Years of OS Updates 9 5G Bands |
CONS | No 3.5mm Audio Jack No Wireless Charging Support Decent Cameras Pre-Installed Bloatware No Wireless Charging |
The cheapest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 smartphone is available in India. It’s a huge upgrade from Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 because Qualcomm has fixed the heating issue.
iQOO 9T 5G is a solid smartphone for gaming, The phone also has good cameras but it doesn’t justify the 50k price tag.
In short, if your end goal is to play games then you should consider this device because the newly launched ROG Phone 6 Pro is available at Rs 80000 which is not a good price to pay.
OnePlus 11R 5G
PROS | Superbright 120Hz AMOLED Display Solid Build Quality 3 Years of OS Updates Powerful Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 Superfast 65W Fast Charging Faster Ram and Storage 8 5G Bands Rock Solid Stereo Speakers |
CONS | Above Average Cameras |
OnePlus was lost in 2023 but they have made a comeback with the OnePlus 11R 5G and yes, they did make a comeback, so if your budget is 40k then you can consider the OnePlus 11R 5G.
This is the best price to performance, smartphone you can get. Also, keep in mind, the device doesn’t have as good cameras as Xiaomi 12 Pro 5G but still, for the price of 40k, it’s not bad either.
Nothing Phone 2
Nothing Phone 2 is priced at Rs 44,999 in India which is not a fair price for what Nothing is offered because we have tons of options above 40k.
So what does this mean, Nothing Phone 2 is not for everyone. This is the best option for those users who are looking for the best design and love the Nothing Phone 1 glyph interface.
The 50MP + 50MP rear cameras are solid and you will be more than happy with the performance but they’re not good for the price it comes, it need lots of optimization as I have said in the Nothing Phone 2 review.
Also, the 4700mAh battery is solid too but Nothing didn’t provide the charger in the box, so you have to pay extra to get a 45W wired charger which is not justifiable at all.
The display quality is solid while the same can be said for the build as well. The Snapdragon 8 Gen Plus 1 was and is a powerful processor, so here, the thing is nothing to complain about.
The end story is, that Nothing Phone 2 is a pricey phone, so if you’re okay paying premium for the Nothing brand go ahead otherwise, you can skip this phone.0
Conclusion
All the phone mentioned in the article is great, you just have to pick one as per your needs.
For example, if you’re okay with MIUI then close your eyes and go with Xiaomi 12 Pro 5G but if you want a clean Android experience then you also have Motorola Edge 30 Ultra while if you don’t want to spend 50k then you can look at Motorola Edge 40 5G which is available at Rs 29,999.
So choose what you want and then choose one.
