4,500mAh battery (60W)

Let me just say this, RealMe 9 Pro Plus 5G has the best cameras under Rs 30,000 in India. It also has OIS support which is rare in the mid-budget price range.

To know more about cameras, you can read my RealMe Note 9 Pro Plus 5G review.

It also has MediaTek Dimensity 920 processor which works fine and it can handle almost all mobile games, so no issue with performance too.

Again, if you wanted a gaming smartphone then consider the RealMe 9 Pro SE 5G (review) which is available at Rs 19,999 and has a powerful Snapdragon 778G processor.

Overall, for the price of Rs 24,999, the RealMe 9 Pro Plus 5G is a solid smartphone and you will be more than happy with the performance, cameras, build, audio quality, and even battery life too.

PROS:

  • Powerful Snapdragon 778G Chipset
  • Solid battery life
  • Stereo Speakers
  • Great Cameras
  • 5G Support
  • Android 12 Out of the Box
  • 13 5G Bands
  • 60W fast Charging Support
  • 90Hz AMOLED Display

The only smartphone to come with massive 120W fast charging support under Rs 30000, a 120W charger will charge the smartphone in only 15 minutes from 0 to 100% which is insane.

Yes, Xiaomi is charging extra for a 120W charger but if you don’t want the 120W charger you can also go with Xiaomi 11i 5G (review) which is priced at Rs 24,999 and has 67W charging support.

Overall, the phone has everything except good cameras, so yes, you’re paying money for processor and charging speed, if you want the best camera then consider the newly launched RealMe 9 Pro Plus 5G.

  • Solid battery life
  • Best for Gaming

Motorola Edge 30

Snapdragon 778G Processor
Stock Android 12
50MP + 50MP+ 2MP Rear Cameras
32MP Front Camera
4,020mAh battery (30W)

Motorola Edge 30 has everything you ever wanted in a mid-budget smartphone. It features a 6.50-inches 144Hz 10bit OLED HDR10+ display. The device is powered by Snapdragon 778G SoC and runs on Android 12 and it will get an Android OS update up to Android 14.

The highlighted feature is the display quality, there is no single smartphone that has this kind of display at even a 40k price tag.

The cache is, that the phone doesn’t have good cameras, but the camera implementation is great, Motorola just needs to optimize the camera but still, they haven’t done anything.

Overall, if you want a clean Android experience, a powerful processor, solid battery life, fast charging support, 5g support, lightweight smartphone, and if you’re okay with decent cameras then do consider the Moto Edge 30 5G otherwise, do take look at RealMe 9 Pro Plus 5G.

PROS:

  • Well-Balanced Snapdragon 778G Chipset
  • Solid battery life
  • Stereo Speakers
  • Light-weight design
  • 10-bit panel

POCO F4 5G

POCO F3 GT 5G
SPECIFICATIONS6.67-inches FHD+ AMOLED Display
Snapdragon 778G Processor
MIUI 12 – Android 11

This is a gaming smartphone, so if you wanted the best gaming smartphone under Rs 30,000 then this is it, go with POCO F4 5G.

The POCO F4 5G doesn’t have the best camera that said, if you want the best camera then you should take look at the RealMe 9 Pro Plus 5G but if you want the best gaming smartphone then the POCO F4 5G is a better option.

By the way, it’s not like, the phone has a bad camera but considering the price tag, the camera should have been better. You can also read the POCO F4 5G review, so you can get a clear idea, of what POCO is offering or what not?

PROS:

  • Powerful Snapdragon 870 Chipset
  • Solid battery life

  • Solid Build Quality
  • Great for Gaming

iQOO Neo 6 5G

iQOO Neo 6 5G Review Image03
SPECIFICATIONS6.62-inches FHD+ AMOLED Display
Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 5G
Android 12- Fun Touch 12
64MP + 8MP + 2MP Rear Cameras
16MP Front Camera
4,700mAh battery (80W)

I get that, the price could have been better but again, you also have to see the chip shortage and inflation too, so I feel, the pricing is not aggressive nor overpriced, is a good price for what IQOO is offering.

Now, I don’t have to talk much about the Snapdragon 870 SoC because it’s a powerful processor, so there won’t be any kind of issue with the performance. The Fun Touch OS might be a deal-breaker for some people but if you’re okay with the UI then there is nothing to worry about.

The cameras are not that bad, it’s not as good as RealMe 9 Pro Plus but still, consider the gaming smartphone, IQOO Neo 6 5G has good cameras.

By looking at the price and the specifications, iQOO Neo 6 5G is worth buying and it does offer some value at Rs 29999.

PROS:

  • Powerful Snapdragon 870 Chipset
  • Solid battery life
  • OIS Support
  • Decent Cameras
  • Speakers are Excellent
  • Solid Build Quality
  • Great for Gaming
  • Stereo Speakers
  • 5G Support
  • 1300 nits pick the brightness
  • 80W Fast Charging Support

CONS:

  • Full of Bloatware
  • Fun Touch OS needs improvement
  • Sometimes, OIS feels Gimmicky

Verdict

If you want a value-for-money device then RealMe 9 Pro Plus 5G is the best option but if you also want the best gaming smartphone under Rs 30,000 then there is no better option than IQOO Neo 6 5G.
