The Nothing Phone 1 was launched at Rs 32,999 price tag but now it’s only available at Rs 29,999 which is the best price for what Nothing is offering you, it has everything from great cameras, clean Android UI, beautiful design, solid build quality, and even good processor.
Also, Nothing has recently updated the phone to Android 13 where they have fixed almost all the bugs along with that, the cameras are improved and better compared to the launch day.
Buy if,
If you wanted a smartphone for everything except gaming, although, the Snapdragon 778+ is a good processor but it’s not powerful enough to handle heavy gaming.
Google Pixel 6A
SPECIFICATIONS | 6.10-inches FHD+ OLED Display 60Hz Refresh Rate Google Tensor (5 nm) 12 5G Bands Android 13 12.2MP + 12MP Rear Cameras 8MP Front Camera 4,410mAh battery (18W) |
Google Pixel 6A was launched at a whopping Rs 43,999 price tag but now, it’s available at Rs 29,999. Now, the phone does have its Pros and Cons but for those who are looking for a clean Android experience along with the best cameras for photography then do consider buying Pixel 6A.
The Google Tensor is a good processor but it’s not good for gaming, it gets hot after playing games for even 30 minutes while the 60Hz screen refresh rate is not justifiable at a 30k price tag.
BUY if,
If you wanted the best cameras for Photography, a clean Android Experience, and longer Android updates. Don’t buy the device for Gaming at all…
Motorola Edge 30
SPECIFICATIONS | 6.50-inches FHD+ OLED Display Snapdragon 778G Processor Stock Android 12 50MP + 50MP+ 2MP Rear Cameras 32MP Front Camera 4,020mAh battery (30W) |
Motorola Edge 30 has everything you ever wanted in a mid-budget smartphone. It features a 6.50-inch 144Hz 10bit OLED HDR10+ display. The device is powered by Snapdragon 778G SoC and runs on Android 12 and it will get an Android OS update up to Android 14.
BUY if,
If you’re okay with decent battery life and average cameras then do consider the Motorola edge 30 5G otherwise increase your budget and consider the Nothing Phone 1.
Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus 5G
SPECIFICATIONS | 6.67-inches FHD+ AMOLED 120Hz Refresh Rate 10 5G bands MediaTek Dimensity 1080 (6 nm) Android 12 – MIUI 13 200MP + 8MP + 2MP Rear Cameras 16MP Front Camera 4,980mAh battery (120W) |
The Redmi Note series suppose to be budget centric but now with the launch of the Redmi Note 12 Series, it has become mid-budget-centric. The Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus is priced at Rs 29,999 which is not a good price for what Redmi is offering.
Buy if,
If you wanted the smooth 120hz AMOLED panel, superfast 120W fast charging, videography, longer battery life, Stable Stereo Speakers, and better cameras then do consider the Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus.
But
If you want the value for money device then Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus is not a good option, however, redmi is charging a bit extra money for this device which is not cool at all, so if you’re a fan of Redmi, and don’t want to buy any other brand’s smartphone then consider Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus otherwise, skip it…

Now, I don’t have to talk much about the Snapdragon 870 SoC because it’s a powerful processor, so there won’t be any kind of issue with the performance. The Fun Touch OS might be a deal-breaker for some people but if you’re okay with the UI then there is nothing to worry about.
The cameras are not that bad, it’s not as good as Nothing Phone 1 but still, considering the gaming smartphone, IQOO Neo 6 5G has good cameras.
BUY if
If you wanted the best gaming smartphone under Rs 30,000 then do consider the iQOO Neo 6 5G.
Verdict
If you’re not a heavy gamer then close your eyes and go with Nothing Phone 1 but if you wanted the best gaming smartphone under Rs 30,000 then take look at IQOO Neo 6 5G.
