POCO M2 is newly launched phone from POCO, this is re-brand version of Redmi 9 prime with little bit improvement. The phone has 6GB of Ram and 64GB storage and it’s priced at Rs 10,999 while Redmi 9 prime is priced at Rs 9,999 for 4GB + 64GB. POCO M2 is also powered by MediaTek Helio G80 processor and it’s running on MIUI 11 based on Android 10, this phone won’t have ads while Redmi 9 Prime does have ads in the UI. Overall, POCO M2 is a good option as compared to Redmi 9 Prime but if you can’t go above 10k then still, Redmi 9 Prime is a good option.

Everything about POCO M2 is just amazing, this is the best phone you can buy at 14k in India. Also, POCO M2 Pro doesn’t have the ads in the UI which is another bonus point. One more thing, POCO M2 Pro is available on Flipkart 24/7, so you don’t have to wait for a flash sale, you can buy whenever you want.

POCO X2

If you want the best smartphone under 20k then just go with POCO X2, it’s an allrounder. The phone has Snapdragon 730G processor, 4,500 battery with 27W fast charging support, Dual selfie camera setup, 120Hz screen refresh rate. POCO X2 price in India starts from Rs 17,499 for 6GB of Ram + 64GB storage. If you want value for money phone then this is the one you got.

By the way, POCO X3 is launching on 22nd September 2020 in India and this phone has better specifications the POCO X2 but it will be priced at about 20k for the base variant. So if you can spend 20k and wait for some time then POCO X3 would be a good option. I will add POCO X3 right here, once it’s launched in India.

RealMe 7 Pro

RealMe 7 Pro Review

This phone has one thing which you won’t find in any other budget smartphone which 65W fast charging support and that 65W charger is also included in the box, so you don’t have to spend money to get a faster charger. Sadly, RealMe 7 Pro (review) comes with the same Snapdragon 720G proceesor which is kind outdated and it’s the best proceesor you can buy at Rs 19,999.

The phone also has plastic build which is also not that great, so overall, if you want that 65W fast charging support then RealMe 7 Pro is good option but if you’re okay with 27W fast charging support the still, I would say POCO X2 is the best buy over RealMe 7 Pro.

OnePlus Nord

OnePlus Nord Review

After a long time, OnePlus has launched mid-budget centric smartphone and believe this is by far best phone you can buy under Rs 25,000 in India. The phone has newly launched Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor which has 5G support, 4,115 mAh battery with warp 30T fast charging support, 90Hz AMOLED display and best build quality.

Overall, OnePlus Nord (review) is a balanced phone, it’s not like, this is the best you got but what OnePlus is offering at 25k is value for money. So if you want to buy a new phone at 25k then OnePlus Nord is the best option for you.

OnePlus 7T

OnePlus 7T in july 2020

Still, in 2020 I would say OnePlus 7T is a good option. The phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus processor, it also has 3,800 mAh battery with Warp Charge 30T fast charging support, best build quality, good camera quality. Overall, OnePlus 7T is a good option at Rs 34,999 in India.

I’m using OnePlus 7T for six months and yet, I haven’t had any problem in performance, it’s working fine. I have also re-reviewed OnePlus 7T after six months. So if you’re okay with 2019 smartphone and that circular rear camera the this is the best option. Keep in mind, the cameras is not the best on OnePlus 7T but it’s not worst also, so if you want best cameras then you have to wait for Pixel 4A which will out in October 2020 in India.

OnePlus 8

OnePlus 8 series_0086

If you want 5G and new design in your next phone then yes you can buy OnePlus 8 but if you don’t care about 5G and design then I would say, it’s not worth investing Rs 41,999 in OnePlus 8. If you can add a little bit more then I would recommend you go with OnePlus 8 Pro because this has everything that premium smartphone should have.

OnePlus 8 (review) is not bad phone but OnePlus has made some compromises in Camera department, they provided macro sensor instant of telephoto lens. I mean, they could have implemented macro lens in ultra-wide like what they did with OnePlus 7T but hey, this is what most of the companies are doing and OnePlus is part of that too.

Asus ROG Phone 3

Asus ROG Phone 3 FAQs
image: Asus

Absolutely, ROG Phone 3 (review) is worth buying at Rs 50,000. It’s not overpriced smartphone yet I would say, buy this phone only if you want a gaming smartphone because it doesn’t have a good camera setup.

Overall. ROG Phone 3 is not for everyone because at 55k you’re getting OnePlus 8 Pro, so there is no point to buy ROG Phone 3 but if you want gaming phone then ROG 3 is a better option then OnePlus 8 Pro. By the way, ROG Phone is also powered by Snapdragon 865+ processor and it does have 5G support. This is the best gaming phone you can buy at 50k, also, cameras is not that great on this.

What else you need on a smartphone. I would say OnePlus 8 Pro is worth buying at 55k. There is nothing wrong with this phone, so if you want to buy a new phone and if your budget is above 50k then you can buy this phone, you won’t regret.

Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra

is Galaxy Note 20 Ultra worth it

Yes, Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra is worth buying because it has everything expect a good processor, I mean Exynos 990 is a good one but it’s not good as Snapdragon 865+ Plus. Still, I would say, If you have 1 lakh budget then Galaxy note 20 Ultra is value for money smartphone, you won’t have any problem after buying.

If I want to buy 1 lakh smartphone then I would wait for the iPhone 12 series because I’m investing in a flagship smartphone, so I want the best phone available in the market. There is no doubt Galaxy Note 20 Ultra is a great phone but Samsung is offering Exynos 990 chips in India and that’s where I think, going with iPhone is a good choice.
