POCO X4 Pro 5G Review
POCO X4 Pro 5G is worth buying because it has almost everything that you wanted in Redmi Note 11 Pro except good cameras, so if you can compromise a little bit in the camera department then it great option with a great price tag, it features a 120hz AMOLED display, 7 5G Bands, powerful Snapdragon 695 SoC and super-fast 67W fast charging.
POCO needs to work on the camera department, now, it’s not like, the phone has bad cameras but sometimes it feels like, POCO didn’t even work on the camera, they just added the sensors.
With some OTA updates, the cameras can be improved but still, you have to live with decent cameras.

The phone doesn’t have a good camera but POCO has added a powerful processor, 120Hz AMOLED display, solid battery life, 67W fast charging, and dual speaker, so here, can’t complain much about the cameras.

Display Quality
The POCO X4 Pro 5G comes with a 6.67-inches 120hz AMOLED display with a pick brightness of 1200 nits.
Most of the 5G smartphones under rs 20,000 comes with LCD 120hz display or 60Hz AMOLED display and here, POCO is offering a 120Hz AMOLED display which is great.
Also, the display brightness is 1200 nits which means there won’t be any kind of issue while using the smartphone in outdoors.

There is support for Wide Vine L1 which means you will be able to watch FHD+ content on all the OTT platforms.
On the front side, the display is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 while the frame is made out of plastic.
Overall, there is no doubt that POCO X4 Pro 5G has the best display for under Rs 20,000 in India, there is no other smartphone that offers this kind of display with 5G support.
Performance
We have seen Snapdragon 695 SoC in the recently launched Moto G71 5G and the same has been added to the POCO X4 Pro 5G.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC is a powerful processor and it can handle almost every single mobile game without any problems.
The naming of a processor can be confusing but don’t worry, the Snapdragon 695 SoC is a little bit more powerful than Snapdragon 750G.
The POCO X4 Pro 5G runs on MIUI 13 based on Android 11, still, no Android 12 but actually it will get an Android 12 update but when?, only POCO can tell.
It also has 5G support and it has 7 5G Bands.

Snapdragon 695 SoC will give better performance than Snapdragon 750G, so there won’t be any issues while playing games or even using smartphones in day-to-day life.
In short, don’t get confused by the processor name, the performance will be better.
Cameras
The POCO X4 Pro 5G has 64MP primary sensor + 8MP ultra-wide lens + 2MP macro sensor while a 16MP selfie shooter is on the front. Both the rear and front cameras can shoot videos at 1080p@30fps.
As I have said, the cameras are a weak part of POCO X4 Pro 5G and POCO needs to work on the rear and front cameras.
Now, the cameras are not that bad but sometimes it didn’t feel like a 19k smartphone, it gives you a 12k smartphone vibe.
Again, there is no OIS update, POCO has added EIS support which works fine.

The videos don’t come out well, there is shakiness to the footage, and also, there is some issue with dynamic range too.
The details are also not that great, POCO is trying to add extra colors to the videos as well as images too, so if you’re that person who loves natural colors then you will be disappointed with the POCO X4 pro 5G Cameras.
That 64MP sensor does capture good image under good light but still, it has some issue with dynamic range, sometimes, it take great images, and sometimes it feels like a 10k smartphone camera.
The Ultra-wide lens does the same, the only different thing is, it doesn’t give as detailed images as a 64MP sensor.
Now, that 2MP sensor is just for numbers, so ignore it.
Coming to a 16MP selfie shooter, the front camera is trying to add extra white colors to most of the images and I don’t think most people will mind this.
Talking about myself, I don’t like beauty mode.
Keeping everything in mind, POCO has added tons of features that you won’t find in any other budget smartphone except good cameras.
By the way, if you can live with an LCD display, a single speaker and decent fast charging support then do take look at RealMe 9 Pro 5G (review).
Now, if you can live with a decent camera and you want a 120Hz AMOLED display, 67W fast charging, stereo speakers, and powerful performance then there is no better option than POCO X4 Pro 5G, at this movement.
Audio Quality
Yes, it has a stereo speaker and it’s great, no complaints. There is also a secondary noise-cancellation microphone too which helps a lot in calling.
As this is a budget smartphone, POCO has added a 3.5m audio jack, so you can use the wired earphones.
Overall, there won’t be any kind of issue with calling as well as audio, Samsung has done a great job this time.
Battery Life
The POCO X4 Pro 5G has a 5,000 mAh battery with 67W fast charging support. The phone will take about 41 minutes to charge from 0% to 100%.
By the way, POCO has added a 67W fast charger in the box, no need to buy it separately.
That 5,000 mAh battery will last for a day but in the end, it will depend on how you use the smartphone in day-to-day life.
