POCO M3

Is it worth buying POCO M3
Specifications6.53-inches HD+ LCD Display,
Snapdragon 662 Processor (11 nm),
Android 11 based on MIUI 13
48MP+2MP+2MP Rear Cameras,
8MP Front Cameras,
6,000mAh battery,

After a long time, POCO has launched a new phone and it’s not a re-brand of Xiaomi. The POCO M3 is powered by Snapdragon 662 Processor which is a good processor as this phone is priced at Rs 9,999 for 6GB Ram and 64GB storage.

The phone also has a massive 6,000 mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.

Considering the price tag, I would say, POCO has done a good job with POCO M3. In short, if your budget is about 10k then don’t look for any other phone, this good smartphone to consider for under Rs 10,000.

POCO C3

POCO C3 Price in India
Specifications6.43-inches HD+ LCD Display,
MediaTek Helio G35 (12 nm)
Android 12 based on MIUI 13
13MP+2MP+2MP Rear Cameras,
5MP Front Cameras,
5,000mAh battery,

The phone is powered by MediaTek Helio G35 SoC and it’s running on MIUI 12 but the phones don’t have ads in the UI like Redmi Phones.

The MediaTek Helio G35 is a good processor but it’s not powerful, it will give good performance while using social media, watching YouTube Videos, or calling. Don’t buy for gaming at all.

This is Rs 7,999 smartphone, so keep your expectation as low as you can and you will enjoy the smartphone. Also, the cameras are kind of okay, its decent cameras for day photography, but not much for the night.

Overall, for the 8k price, you won’t get a better smartphone than this, it’s a good option to gift your father, mother, or someone who has never used a smartphone.

Redmi 9 Prime

Redmi 9 Prime Price in India
Specifications6.53-inches HD+ LCD Display,
MediaTek Helio G80 SoC
Android 11 based on MIUI 13
13MP+2MP+2MP+2MP Rear Cameras,
8MP Front Cameras,
5,000mAh battery,

The MediaTek Helio G80 is a good processor for day-to-day usage, it’s not the best for gaming at all. For example, if you only use Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and small games then this is the best option after the POCO M3.

Also, as this is a Redmi phone, you will see ads here and there. For example, in most of Xiaomi’s stock apps.

In short, if you’re getting POCO M3 and Redmi 9 Power at the same price then go with POCO M3 but if the Redmi 9 Power is available at a lower price then skip the POCO M3.

Micromax IN 1B

Micromax IN 1B Price in India
Micromax IN 1B
Specifications6.50-inches HD+ LCD Display,
MediaTek Helio G35 SoC,
Android 11 – Stock
13MP+2MP Rear Cameras,
8MP Front Cameras,
5,000mAh battery,

I was so excited about Micromax’s comeback but they blew it up, big time…

The Micromax IN 1B (review) has the best specification in the 6k price range, the phone has a type-C port, a 5,000 mAh battery, a stock UI with no Ads, and a great processor but when it’s come to user experience, Micromax needs to work a lot.

The phone does have Stock UI but it feels un-polish, Micromax needs to work on software, and once they do it, this phone will be the best smartphone at a 7k price tag.

Just because of the un-polished UI, the cameras are also not that great, the phone does have a good sensor but it’s not well optimized and that’s the reason, the images are not as good as the sensors.

Redmi 9

Xiaomi Redmi 9
Specifications6.53-inches HD+ LCD Display,
MediaTek Helio G35 SoC,
MIUI 12 – Android 12,
13MP+2MP Rear Cameras,
8MP Front Cameras,
5,000mAh battery,

The Redmi 9 is powered by MediaTek Helio G35 Processor and it’s running on MIUI 12-based on Android 11 this too has ads in the UI which you can’t turn off 100%.

Again, the cameras are not that great but it does their job in daylight, the same can’t be said for low lights.

Overall, if you can get this device at Rs 7000 then go for it otherwise, you already have the POCO M3 at Rs 10000.

Best Buy: Redmi 9

Conclusion

We have a clear winner this time, yes, I’m talking about the POCO M3 but if you don’t want to spend all the 10k then do consider the POCO C3 which is priced at Rs 7,999.
