On the front side, it has Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection, the rear side is glass while the frame is made out of Aluminium.
There is no doubt, the Xiaomi 11T Pro 5G has the best display under Rs 50,000 in India and the fact you can buy this smartphone at Rs 39,999 which is the cherry on top.
So whether you want to play games or consume content, you will be more than happy with the display, you won’t be disappointed.
Performance
We have seen Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor in many smartphones and all the smartphones have performed well and the same can be said for the Xiaomi 11T Pro 5G too.
I was expecting Android 12 out of the box but that didn’t happen, it’s running on MIUI 12.5 on top of Android 11.
Xiaomi has promised 3 years of OS updates and 4 years of security updates which means, the Xiaomi 11T Pro 5G will get updates up to Android 14.
The phone comes with pre-installed third-party apps which can be uninstalled but still, as this is a 40k smartphone, this is not acceptable.

For those who love to play mobile games, the phone will give you the best possible performance, so there won’t be any issues while playing games or even watching movies.
Overall, you will be more than happy with the performance.
Cameras
The Xiaomi 11T Pro 5G has 108MP primary sensor, 8MP ultra-wide lens, 5MP macro lens while it has a 16MP front camera.
The rear cameras can shoot videos up to [email protected], [email protected] and even [email protected] while the front camera can shoot videos at only [email protected]
Xiaomi hasn’t added OIS support but it does have EIS which works fine, no issues there.
Fun fact, you will be able to shoot HDR videos at [email protected] which is huge because this is a 40k smartphone and haven’t seen this feature in many smartphones.
Xiaomi has also added tons of filters that can be used in Videos, so yes, if wanted to buy a new smartphone for video shooting then this could be a good option to consider.
By the way, just like Motorola Edge 20, the Xiaomi 11T Pro 5G also has a third microphone on the rear side which will help you to capture good audio.
That 108MP sensor also works well, it produces good details and the dynamic range is also well balanced.
When you take portrait shots, it tries to soften the images which I didn’t like that much, now, this can be fixed by OTA updates.
Most people do like soften images, so Xiaomi may have done this purposely.
The 8MP ultra-wide lens does its job, it takes good quality images under good light but when it comes to low lights or night photography, it loses out on details.
Again, it can be fixed with an OTA update but when it depends on Xiaomi.
I just loved that Xiaomi has provided a 5MP macro sensor and not 2MP which is a good thing.
So if you’re that person who loves to take macro shots then you will appreciate the 5MP macro sensor otherwise, it’s just there for the showcase.
Now, the 16MP front camera is good but it’s not the best. I mean, I can’t call this 40k selfie shooter, it needs lots of work but again, it is useable.
Overall, I feel, Xiaomi has done a great job with the camera and for the time, I can, it has the best cameras under 40k after Galaxy S20 FE 5G.
In short, if you wanted the overall best smartphone then yes, you can consider the Xiaomi 11T Pro 5G.
Audio Quality
Yes, Xiaomi 11T Pro 5G has stereo speakers, so there is nothing to worry about the audio quality.
It also has a secondary noise cancellation microphone along with carrier aggregation which will help a lot in calls.
Overall, the audio and even call quality are good, with no complaints.
Battery life
The Xiaomi 11T Pro 5G comes with a 5,000 mAh battery with 120Wfast charging support. The 120W charger will take only 17 minutes to charge from 0% to 100%.
Overall, the battery will last for a day and even if you kill the battery in the day then you can also use a 120W charger which won’t even take 20 minutes to charge from 0 to 100%.
In short, don’t worry about the battery life, you will be more than happy with the battery and once you use that 120W charger, you won’t go back to 30W or even 50W charging.
