Is It Worth Buying Samsung Galaxy F42 5G
No, Samsung Galaxy F42 5G is not worth buying but if you want the best budget Samsung smartphone then Galaxy F42 5G is the best option available. The phone is priced at 21k and Samsung has provided LCD display, single speaker, decent cameras, plastic back, and eMMC 5.1 Storage.
As you can tell, Samsung has done heavy cost-cutting and they charging 21k for 15k smartphones.
At 21k it’s better to go for Motorola Edge 20 Fusion 5G rather than Galaxy F42 5G.
No doubt, the Galaxy F42 5G has a good processor, good battery life but what are you gonna do with the phone if it doesn’t have a good camera and has only 15W charging support.

Also, that eMMC 5.1 Storage at 21k is not worth it. Brands like Xiaomi and RealMe are providing UFS 2.0 and even UFS 3.0 at 15k.
The good thing is, the Galaxy F42 5G has 12 5G bands which mean, whenever 5G launches in India, you will be able to use 5G on Galaxy F42 5G.
Overall, it’s better to ignore the Galaxy F42 5G, unless, you want Samsung Smartphone.
More on Samsung Galaxy F42 5G
The Galaxy F42 5G comes with 6.60-inches LCD 90Hz display and it also has Widevine L1 support that means, there won’t be any issue while streaming FHD+ content on OTT apps.
It has a 64MP primary sensor, 5MP ultra-wide lens, 2MP depth while there is a 16MP selfie shooter. Both of these cameras can shoot videos up to [email protected] while there is no OIS support.

No Exynos 9611 this time, Samsung has gone with Mediatek. The Galaxy F42 5G is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor and running on OneUI 3.1-based on Android 11.
This is where things get tricky, it only has a single bottom-firing speaker which is kind of okay. Don’t expect the audio quality to be perfect or better.
The Galaxy F42 5G comes with a 5,000 mAh battery with 15W charging support. This means, the battery will last for a day but when put the phone charge, it will take hall lot of time because of that 15W adapter.
Conclusion
It offers an LCD, plastic build, only 15W charging support, decent camera setup, and no Stereo Speakers. So you will compromise in many features to get the Samsung logo.
Now, Galaxy F42 5G does have good features too like a good processor, 12 5G bands and that’s it. Ohh, you will also need to pay 21k to get these features.
I don’t have to say everything again and again, so if you want more details on the smartphone then make sure you Read the Galaxy F42 5G Review.
