Much awaited Mi 11 series is here and this time, Xiaomi has nailed it because all the phones have the best price tag. Now, the phone does have its Pros and Cons which I will talk about in the review which will be out very soon but now, let’s take look at the Pro version and see whether you should spend Rs 39,999 on Mi 11X Pro 5G or not?
Before that let me tell you India price of Mi 11X Pro.
Is it Worth Buying Xiaomi Mi 11X Pro
Yes, the Mi 11X Pro is worth buying because it has a powerful Snapdragon 888 SoC which is by far the best processor available at 40k in India. The phone also has a 108MP triple camera setup, solid build quality, fast support, 120Hz AMOLED display and it’s priced at Rs 39,999. In short, Mi 11X Pro is a value money device and it’s worth the 40k price tag.
Mi 11X and Mi 11X Pro have only two 5G bands which include n77/n78. I can understand that Xiaomi didn’t give more 5G bands on Mi 11X because of its price tag but when it comes to Mi 11X Pro, I don’t think two 5G bans justify the price tag.
Xiaomi should have gone with at least four 5G bands because of the price tag. Now, why 5G bands are more important?
For example, 5G just launched in India, and almost all the network provided doesn’t support n77/n78 then here, you won’t able to use 5G and you have to buy a new phone if you want to use 5G.
Coming to Mi 11X Pro 5G,
The Xiaomi Mi 11X Pro comes with a 6.67-inches 120Hz AMOLED display, 4520 mAh battery with 33W fast charging, 5G connectivity, a 108MP quad-camera setup, 20MP selfie shooter, solid build, and stereo speakers.
Right now, I’m working on review, so I won’t say much here but let me talk about cameras,
It has 108MP primary + 8MP ultra-wide + 5MP macro. So here, Xiaomi should have gone with a telephoto lens because there is no need for that macro sensor, it could have been implemented in the ultra-wide.
In short, the phone has only two sensors. Here I feel, at 40k, this phone doesn’t have the best camera implantation. For better cameras, take look at Vivo X60 5G which I have reviewed last week.
Conclusion: Buy or not?
It’s better to save Rs 10,000 and buy Mi 11X at 30k rather than paying an extra 10k and getting a 108MP sensor.
I know, Mi 11X Pro has Snapdragon 888 SoC while Mi 11X has Snapdragon 870 SoC but for normal users, this won’t be a deal-breaker.
That was it, do let me know, which smartphone will you buy, if you have choose between Mi 11X & Mi 11X Pro?
