RealMe Pad X Review with Pros and Cons – Worth it?
RealMe is back with another tablet and this time, it’s quite good and they have also priced it right. So if you’re looking for a good Android tablet under Rs 20000 then this might be the best option, so let’s find out in this RealMe Pad X review whether it’s worth the Rs 19999 or not?
RealMe Pad X Price in India
The RealMe Pad X price in India starts from Rs 19,999 for 4GB of Ram + 64GB of storage (Wi-Fi) while another 5G 4GB of Ram and 64GB storage variant is priced at Rs 25,999. RealMe also offers another 5G variant that offers 6GB of Ram and 128GB storage and it’s priced at Rs 27,999.

RealMe Pad X Review
Yes, the RealMe Pad X is worth buying because it offers Real Value at a reasonable price, it has a decent Snapdragon 695 SoC, a larger display for entertainment, and quad speakers with Dolby Atmos support while it’s available at Rs 19999 which is a good price for what RealMe is offering.
Now, the Snapdragon 695 is not a powerful processor but still, you will be able to play games like BGMI and even COD mobile at medium graphics. By the way, you will be able to play BGMI at 40fps.
All-in-all, the RealMe Pad X is not made for gaming, it’s made for watching movies, YouTube videos, taking notes, or doing any other day-to-day tasks.
Still, if you want a gaming tablet then I would recommend you to consider the Xiaomi Pad 5 which is available at 26,999 but if you can go up to 30k then there is no better option than the iPad 9th Gen.

Display
The RealMe Pad X comes with a 10.95-inches 60hz TFT display with a resolution of 1200 x 2000 pixels and 213 PPI density. On the front side, its has Panda glass while the back and frame are made out of plastic.
Now, here comes the interesting part,
As per RealMe, this tab is made for watching movies, YouTube videos, and TV Shows but there is no support for Widevine L1. This means you won’t abe to watch FHD+ content on Prime Videos or even Netflix.
RealMe can add Widevine L1 support via OTA update but when? no one knows…
The display is TFT but it’s good quality TFT panel, so there won’t be any kind of problems while using the tablet in day-to-day life.
Also, the tab only has a 60hz screen refresh rate but still, the display feels smooth, didn’t notice any frame drop or lag which shows that it’s a good quality panel.
For those who are wondering, no the RealMe Pad X doesn’t have the fingerprint sensor, it relies on face-unlock which works fine as always.
Overall, I would have loved to see LCD display instant of TFT and Widevine L1 Support but still, for Rs 19999, it’s not a bad option to consider because we don’t have any other better options under Rs 20000.
Performance
Now, we have seen Snapdragon 695 in many smartphones and all the smartphones that had this processor are priced between Rs 18000 to Rs 20000.
And the same case is with RealMe Pad X…
In short, the Snapdragon 695 SoC is a powerful processor and it can handle games like BGMI and even COD Mobile, so for decent gaming, there won’t be any kind of issue but for heavy gaming, do take look at Xiaomi Pad 5 or iPad’s.
By the way, if you go for the LTE version then here, RealMe has added 12 5G bands which include N1, n5, n7, n8, n20, n28, n38, n40, n41, n77, n78, and n66.
So there won’t be any problem while using the smartphone in day-to-day life or playing games. Overall, you will be more than happy with the performance.
Cameras
The RealMe Pad X comes with a 13MP primary sensor and 8MP front camera. The front and rear cameras can shoot videos at [email protected]
Here,
You won’t get the best cameras, it’s there and added by RealMe but don’t expect the camera results to be like RealMe 9 Pro 5G or even POCO X4 Pro 5G.
We all know that budget Android tablets don’t provide good images or even videos.
Still, if you’re a student and if you wanted to take photos of documents then there won’t be any issue with the cameras, it’s still, good cameras and will provide good images under good lighting.
Again, don’t use the cameras at night because the images won’t be useable and there is no flashlight present on the rear side.
Overall, the cameras are good compared to other tablets under Rs 20000 but don’t compare it with Smartphones.
Audio
This is where Realme has put everything,
The RealMe Pad X has four speakers which support Dolby Atmos and it does work well too. By the way, there is no 3.5mm Audio jack present in this tablet.
The quality of each speaker is excellent, they’re loud and even clean too, so whether you want to play games or even watch movies, you won’t need the earphones.
Battery Life
It has an 8,340mAh battery with 33W charging support and yes, the charger is included with the box.
The battery will last for a day, the Snapdragon 695 SoC is power-efficient SoC and it will give better battery life.
Now, if you’re a heavy user then be ready to charge the tablet twice a day but for a normal user, the battery can last for more than a day too.
Verdict
By looking at everything from price to specifications, the RealMe Pad X justifies the rs 19999 price tag.
In short, if you wanted to buy a new tablet for under Rs 20000 then you can consider the RealMe Pad X but again, if you want to spend more money then there is also Xiaomi Pad 5 and further, there is also iPad 9th too.
In the end, it’s all about the price…
