Xiaomi offers great value with Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G, it has the best display quality, slimmest design, fast charging support, 5G support with 11 5G bands, and it’s priced at Rs 26,999. In short, the Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G is a value-for-money device and it’s worth the 27k price tag, overall, it’s a killer smartphone but it’s a bit pricey.

Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G Display Quality
The Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G comes with a 6.55-inches 90Hz AMOLED display and this is HDR 10+ display with 10-bit color support. The display brightness is 800 nits and it has a 240-touch sampling rate.
For non-techy, the Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G has the best display for under Rs 30,000 in India. For now, no budget smartphone offers this kind of display.
One thing to note here, most smartphones under 30k have a 120hz refresh rate display but the Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G has a 90Hz refresh rate, so I didn’t get why Xiaomi went with 90Hz.

In short, Xiaomi has used good quality AMOLED panels on Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G. There won’t be any problem while playing games or even watching movies.
The display brightness is also good enough to use the smartphone outdoors but still, I feel, Xiaomi could have provided 1000 nits for a better experience.
Xiaomi has used Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on both sides. Here, I would say, Xiaomi has done a good job as they didn’t use plastic on the rear side.
Overall, the display is bright enough to be in the sunlight and there is support for Wide-Vine L1 which means you can watch FHD+ content on OTT platforms.
Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G Design
Okay, Xiaomi is marketing this smartphone as the slimmest smartphone and that is true, so I have to talk about its design.
Now, Xiaomi has just used the Mi 11 Lite 4G design, they didn’t do anything new. So let me just borrow some paragraphs from my Mi 11 Lite 4G review, I mean, if Xiaomi can do it then why can’t I?
The Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G weight is about 157gram which is low as it can get, most of the phones come with at least 180 grams of weight but Xiaomi has broken the barrier with Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G.
While the phone thickness is 6.81mm, I mean, only 6.81mm. So, yes if you like slim smartphones then you won’t find a slimmer smartphone than Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G at a Budget price tag.
When I hold the phone in my hand, I felt like, this is a dummy phone but as you can tell, it wasn’t. Also, the phone has a glass back because of that, it didn’t felt cheap.
Also, I like how Xiaomi went with minimal design, just because of that, Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G looks better than any other budget smartphone.
Now, what else, I can say about the design? I can go on and on but you get my point right. Its best looking smartphone is available for under 30k.
Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G Cameras
The Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G comes with a 64MP primary sensor + 8MP ultra-wide + 5MP macro sensor while there is a 16MP selfie Shooter. The rear camera can shoot videos up to 40k@30fos while the front can record videos up to 1080p@30fps.
The phone doesn’t have OIS support, it relies on EIS which is processed by software. So don’t expect the video footage to come out of the stable.
Xiaomi has added stabilise mode in the stock camera up but it’s not very useful. OIS would have made the camera better. Xiaomi could have added the OIS but they decided to put all the money into the design.
The videos do come out well, no issue with dynamic range and even details are very good when there are good lights but when you shoot videos at night, things change.
Even at night videos do come good but it’s not as good at the 27k price tag, Xiaomi needs to work on night videography and the goes for night photography too.
Speaking of photography, the 64MP sensor does a great job at daylight but the same can’t be said for the night. Again, a little bit of optimization can make this camera better.
This can be called above average camera setup, it can become the best but this is Xiaomi, can’t expect much.
Also, that 8MP ultra-wide is the same as the primary sensor, it takes some good images in daylight or when there are good lights. Also, don’t try to use the ultra-wide lens at night because it will lose out on details.
Now that the 5MP sensor is for marketing, don’t expect much.
Coming to a 16MP selfie shooter, this is where I feel, Xiaomi has done a good job. So if you like selfies more than photos then this could be a good smartphone for you.
Again, there is no OIS on the front camera too, so the videos will come out a bit shaky. Other than that, the front camera is good. Now, when you take images at night, there will be some noise.
Most mid-budget smartphones have the same problem, they took the best images in daylight but when it comes to night, they suffer a lot.
Overall, Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G has a good camera setup and considering the price tag, one should not complain about the camera.
Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite NE 5G Performance
The Xiaomi Mi 11 NE 5G is powered by Snapdragon 778G SoC and running on MIUI 12.5-based on Android 11. Now, we have seen the Snapdragon 778G SoC in many smartphones and it performs great whether you want to play games or watch movies.
Also, MIUI 12.5 is well optimized by Xiaomi, so there won’t be any kind of problem while using the phone in day to day life.
Now, keep in mind, the phone does come with tons of pre-installed apps which can be uninstalled but still, it comes with lots of bloatware. Also, the phone has ads in the UI which can’t be disabled 100%.
Ads can be seen on Xiaomi stock apps. Apart from that, there is nothing to worry about performance.
The Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G comes with 5G and it has 11 5G bands including n1, n3, n5, n7, n8, n20, n28, n38, n41, n66, and, n77, n78.
So there won’t be an issue when 5G launches in India, the phone will be able to take advantage of the 5G network.
Overall, Snapdragon 778G is a powerful processor and it can handle almost everything. In short, don’t worry about speed.
Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G Audio Quality
The Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite NE 5G does stereo speakers but it’s not very good. Looks like, Xiaomi has just added the dual-speakers for number and in real life, it doesn’t feel like stereo speakers.
Again, it is better than a single speaker but it can’t be called stereo speakers.
For calling, Xiaomi has added a secondary noise cancellation microphone which works fine, no complain about calls.
Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G Battery Life
The Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G has a 4,250 mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. Yes, the battery life is small because the device only has a 6.8 mm body.
To get that slim body, you have to sacrifice battery size.
Snapdragon 778G is battery efficient processor, so there won’t be an issue with battery life. Still, if you’re a heavy user then get ready to charge the phone, two times a day.
If you’re a casual user, who only uses the phone for social media and a little bit of gaming then you will end up with 10% to 15% battery at around 8:0 PM.

As you can tell from the specs, there is no huge difference between the 4G version and the 5G version, Xiami has just changed the processor, everything else is the same.

Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G is a value for money device, it offers a powerful processor, good camera, fast charging, great design, good battery life, 5G support and much more and its well-priced smartphone.
Still, if you want the best cameras then you will be disappointed with the Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G. No doubt, the phone has a good camera but Xiaomi has more focused on design in between, they didn’t work on cameras.
Even after that, Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G value for money device as it offers, other features to feel-up the camera gap.
From my side, Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G is worth the 27k price tag. You won’t face any issues while using the device in a day to day life.
