Overall, Mi 11 Lite is the same phone as Redmi Note 10 Pro but in a different body.

Display Quality
The Mi 11 Lite comes with a 6.55-inches 90Hz AMOLED display and this is HDR 10 display with 10-bit colour support. The display brightness is 800 nits and it has a 240 touch sampling rate.
For non-techy, the Mi 11 Lite has the best display under Rs 30,000 in India. For now, there is no budget smartphone that offers this kind of display.
One thing to note here, Redmi Note 10 Pro has a 120Hz AMOLED display while Mi 11 Lite has a 90Hz AMOLED display, so I didn’t get it, Xiaomi should have added a 120hz refresh rate on Mi 11 lite as this is priced at 23k.

Xiaomi has used Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on both sides. Here, I would say, Xiaomi has done a good job as they didn’t use plastic on the rear side.
Overall, the display is bright enough to be in the sunlight and there is support for Wide-Vine L1 which means you can watch FHD+ content on OTT platforms.
Design
I don’t add, Desing section to any of my reviews but in this case, Mi 11 Lite is all about design. Also, Xiaomi is charging you extra money for the design, so let’s see, what they meant by the best-looking smartphone.
The Mi 11 Lite weight is about 157g which is low as it can get, most of the phones come with at least 180 grams of weight but Mi 11 Lite has broken the barrier.
While the phone thickness is 6.81mm, I mean, only 6.81mm. So, yes if you like slim smartphones then you won’t find a slimmer smartphone than Mi 11 Lite at a Budget price tag.
When I hold Mi 11 Lite in my hand, I felt like, this is a dummy phone but as you can tell, it wasn’t. Also, the phone has a glass back because of that, it didn’t felt cheap.
Also, I like how Xiaomi went with minimal design, just because of that, Mi 11 Lite looks better than any other budget smartphone.

Now, what else, I can say about design, to feel the phone, you must have to hold it in your hand and to do that, you can visit any of near Xiaomi stores and see it by yourself.
Performance
Mi 11 Lite is powered by Snapdragon 732G processor and it’s running on MIUI 12-based on Android 11.
We have seen, Snapdragon 732G SoC on Redmi Note 10 Pro/Max, Moto G40/G60, and many other smartphones but those phones were priced between 15k to 18k and Mi 11 Lite is priced at 23k.
In short, there won’t be any problem while playing games or watching movies, Snapdragon 732G will handle almost every single game which is available on the play store but don’t expect the performance to be like Snapdragon 768G or 750G.
Overall Mi 11 Lite should have launched with Snapdragon 750G or 768G but it didn’t and because of that, I feel, Xiaomi is charging extra money for the design. There is cost-cutting which you can clearly see.
So should you buy or not? it depends on what you want your smartphone, it could be the best design, powerful performance, best camera, or balanced smartphone. In Mi 11 Lite case, you’re paying for the design and that’s it.
Cameras
Let me give you a clear answer, Mi 11 Lite has average cameras and at 23k, Xiaomi should have worked on the camera optimization rather than only working on the design.
The Mi 11 Lite comes with a 64MP primary sensor + 8MP ultra-wide + 5MP macro sensor while there is a 16MP selfie Shooter. The rear camera can shoot videos up to [email protected] while the front can record videos up to [email protected]
There is nothing wrong with the camera, I mean the camera is good but the same camera setup can be found at a 15k price tag too. In short, Mi 11 Lite cameras doesn’t worth the 23k price tag. If the phone was launched at 19k or 20k then it could have been a better option.
The cameras take good images in daylight or when there is good lighting condition but when it comes with a night or when there is not good lighting, the camera losses out on details.
Also, don’t use the ultra-wide lens at night because it won’t give the result you’re looking for.
In short, Mi 11 Lite has a good camera setup but on the other hand, it’s priced at 23k and this is where I feel, it is not the best option for those who want the best camera. It’s a better option for those who want a lightweight phone or a better-looking phone.
Battery Life and Audio
The Mi 11 Lite has a 4,420 mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. The battery size is small because the phone has a slim body.
The phone will last for a day but if you’re a heavy user then you have to charge Mi 11 lite twice a day. Also, there is 33W charging support which will take 59minutes to charge from 0% to 59% 0 to 59%.
The good thing is, it has stereo speakers which are quite loud and clear too but of course, there is no 3.5mm audio port on Mi 11 Lite. Call quality is also good, no complaint here.
Redmi Note 10 Pro Max VS Mi 11 Lite
Redmi Note 10 Pro Max is a clear winner, so if you want to buy a new phone then it’s better to go with Redmi Note 10 Pro Max. Both the phones don’t have 5G, so it’s not like, you’re missing out on 5G.

The Mi 11 Lite is not for everyone which is obvious, so if you want a stylish smartphone at a budget price range then go for Mi 11 Lite but if you want a value for money device then it is better to go with Redmi Note 10 Pro.
