Redmi Note 10T 5G Review
Redmi Note 10T 5G is a good smartphone but we already have POCO M3 Pro 5G, so it doesn’t make any sense to buy Redmi Note 10T 5G because this phone comes with bloatware and has ads in the UI. Overall, Redmi Note 10T 5G is worth buying and you won’t be disappointed after buying it.

Redmi Note 10T 5G Pros and Cons
Pros | Cons |
---|---|
MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC | LCD Display |
Five 5G bands | Ads in the UI |
Solid Battery Life | Average Cameras |
90Hz Refresh Rate | Plastic Build |
5G Connectivity |
These were the Pros and Cons of the Redmi Note 10T 5G. Now, let’s take a closer look at Redmi Note 10T 5G and see, what’s new Redmi has to offer as compared to POCO M3 Pro 5G?
Display Quality
The Redmi Note 10T 5G comes with a 6.50-inches 90Hz LCD with 400 nits of brightness. We have seen, this same display on POCO M3 Pro 5G. So yes, there won’t be any problem while watching movies online as the phone has Widevine L1 support.
As you already know, the phone has LCD Display and it’s a good quality panel. So whether you want to watch movies or play games, you won’t face any problem but of course, if you have used AMOLED display before then you will see the difference.

Overall, I would have loved to see an AMOLED display but as this is a rebrand of POCO M3 Pro 5G, I assume, Xiaomi didn’t want to spend extra money, so they just change the rear design or you can say, Xiaomi imported Redmi Note 10 5G global version.
Coming to build, it has a Glass front (Gorilla Glass 3), a plastic frame, plastic back. So whether the phone has plastic or glass, most of the users will use a cover case, so I guess, build won’t be a huge problem for most of the users
Cameras
The Redmi Note 10T 5G has 48MP primary sensor, 2MP macro and 2MP depth sensor while there is an 8MP selfie shooter. The rear and front camera can shoot videos up to [email protected]
There is no doubt, the phone gives good quality images in good lighting but it would have been better if Redmi has added the ultra-wide lens instant of 2MP+2MP sensors.
So don’t treat, Redmi Note 10T 5G has a triple camera smartphone, treat as a single camera phone.

That 48MP camera sensor gives good images in daylight and the same can be said for night photography too but this is a budget centric smartphone, so don’t expect the colours to be natural.
The phone provides the saturated colours or you can say, it tries to whiten the images and there is nothing wrong with it because this is what most of the other budget centric smartphones are doing and everyone loves that saturated colours.
If you ask me, I don’t like saturated colours, let me know your thoughts. Now, if you have used OPPO or Vivo phones then you will love the Redmi Note 10T 5G cameras.
This is it, The Redmi Note 10T 5G provided good quality images and considering the price tag, there is nothing to complain about.
Performance
The Redmi Note 10T 5G is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 700 5G and it’s running in MIUI 12-based on Android 11. The phone does have ads in the UI and it comes with lots of pre-installed apps from which some apps can be uninstalled.
We have seen, MediaTek Dimensity 700 5G in POCO M3 Pro 5G and RealMe 8 5G, RealMe Narzo 30 5G and now we have the same SoC in Redmi Note 10T 5G

The one thing I noticed on all the phones is battery life. The MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC is battery efficient processor. Also, there won’t be any problem while playing games or doing any kind of task, the SoC can handle everything.
Considering the price tag, this is a good processor which happened to have 5G support and Redmi has added SA: N1, N3, N40, N77, N78 | NSA: N78 5G bands which are the most in a budget smartphone.
As this is Redmi Phone, it also has an IR blaster along with a Proximity sensor, Ambient light sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope, Side-mounted fingerprint sensor and Electronic compass sensor.
Battery Life
The Redmi Note 10T 5G comes with a 5,000 mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. As I have said, the MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC is battery efficient processor.
In short, the battery will last for two days for casual users and a day for heavy users.
Coming to Audio, the device only has a single bottom-firing speaker which is loud enough to watch YouTube videos at home but if you’re in a public place then it’s better to use earphones, also the phone does have a 3.5mm port, so you can use the wired earphones too.
Redmi has also added a secondary noise-cancellation microphone which is a good feature that helps a lot for calling.

If you can get POCO M3 Pro 5G then go for that but if POCO M3 Pro 5G is not available then Redmi Note 10T 5G is also not a bad smartphone. Now, if you don’t like to use an LCD panel then do take look at Redmi Note 10 or Note 10S.

Hi Rahul, Nice information…. After read this, I think we should wait for another 15 day’s to MI Note 11.. price tag of 11999 INR for AMOLED display.
Absolutely, they are just rebranding old phones. It’s better to wait for the Note 11 Series.
A powerful device that can beat any competitive device with its top specs that includes the mediatek processor.
True but what do you think about re-brand?
Hello Rahul
Thank you so much for sharing so much on Mobile phones. I am interested in REDMI NOTE 10T 5G with 6GB and 128GB and you did share about certain specific issues but then Samsung has so many issues d not interested now but in REDMI are there any good phones in Price range 16000/-
A bit late, you can get Redmi Note 10 Pro on Amazon, during the selling days. Also, if you’re buying right now, do take look at IQOO Z5 which is available at 20k on Amazon…
