Redmi 10 Review
If you want long-lasting battery life and a powerful processor at 10k then yes, Redmi 10 is worth buying but if you want better cameras then you need to increase your budget and consider the Redmi 10 Prime or even Infinix Note 11s.
Smartphones are getting expensive and mobile brands also compromising a lot of the budget segments and that’s the same case with Redmi 10.

We used to get the best budget smartphone under 20k but now, to get the same device, we have to pay 25k. The Redmi is one of those examples, this would have been the best smartphone at 8k or even 9k but now we’re getting the same smartphone at 11k.
Also, we all know, no brand will give everything in a single smartphone, they will target one or two features and that’s it, other features will come in their next smartphone.
Redmi 10 also has the same thing, Redmi 10 is for those users who want the best battery life & performance. The cameras are kind of okay.
Redmi 10 Pros and Cons

Long-Lasting Battery Life | HD+ Display |
18W charging support | Decent speakers |

Display
While the phone has a 6.7-inches HD+ LCD display. Its good quality LCD panel, so there won’t be any issues while playing games or even watching movies.

Most of the smartphones around 11k are coming with an FHD+ display but here, Redmi decided to go with an HD+ display which is not good. I get it, they wanted to add, a powerful processor and a bigger battery but they should have also added an FHD+ display or better cameras.
It also has Wide Vine L1 support, so you will be able to watch FHD+ content on OTT apps.
Again, the display is bright, so you will be able to use this smartphone outdoors, there won’t be any kind of issue with visibility under the sunlight
Performance
Also, the processor is powerful enough to handle almost all the tasks without any problems, so don’t worry about the speed, this is the best processor to get at 10k.
The phone runs on MIUI 13 based on Android 11, still, there is no Android 12 update. Redmi has promised an Android 12 update but they didn’t give a timeline.
For those who are wondering, the Redmi 10 doesn’t have 5G support and no, it can’t be added via OTA update too.
By the way, MUI is a heavy OS but don’t worry that Snapdragon 680 will handle the OS without any problems.
Cameras
Redmi 10 comes with a 48MP primary sensor + 2MP depth sensor while there is a 5MP selfie shooter on the front. Both the rear and front cameras can shoot videos at [email protected]
Yes, Redmi has put all its money on processor and battery life, and in between, they forget to work on the camera department.
The camera can be improved with OTA updates but as of now, the camera doesn’t justify the Rs 10,999 price tag.
Even under good lighting, the cameras suffer a lot while it also has some issues with dynamic range too. Now, don’t get me started at the night, it’s a mess that can be cleaned with OTA updates.

That 5MP front camera is kind of okay, the selfie comes out with lots of white colors and it is far far away from the details.
The videos also don’t come out well on the rear as well as on the front.
Battery
Redmi has added a massive 6,000mAh battery which will last for two days while the phone also supports 18W charging support.
By the way, the phone does support 18W charging but Redmi has only supplied a 10W charger in the box. So to get that 18W charging speed you have to use an 18W charger otherwise, the phone will charge slower.
The Snapdragon 680 is battery efficient processor, so overall, there won’t be any kind of issue with the battery and if you’re that person who wanted a long-lasting battery at an affordable price then Redmi 10 cloud be a good option for you.
Audio
Again, as this is an affordable smartphone, can’t expect a stereo speaker, the single bottom-firing speaker works fine but it’s not that great.
It also doesn’t have a secondary noise-cancellation microphone but Redmi has added a 3.5mm audio jack.
Overall, the audio quality is not that great while no issue with calling.
