Vivo V23 Pro 5G comes with a 6.56-inches 90Hz curved AMOLED display while it has 1300 nits of pick brightness and support for widevine L1 which means you will be able to watch FHD+ content on OTT apps.
The device has front glass, front back and plastic frame.
Now, on the backside, Vivo has used some kind of technology that will change the colour when the back panel interact with UV lights.
Also, if you’re that person who uses a smartphone outdoors then this might be a good smartphone because it has 1300 nites brightness which means, the display will be visible even under the sunlight.

It also has an in-display fingerprint sensor and its work well, no issue there. By the way, Vivo has also added two flashlights on the front which will help you when you take selfies at night.
Overall, considering the price, the Vivo V23 Pro 5G has a good quality display, there won’t be any issue while using it.
Performance
The MediaTek Dimensity 1200 is a well-tested processor and we have seen the same processor in quite of few smartphones, so there is no doubt about performance.
Also, the Vivo V23 Pro 5G is running on Fun Touch OS 12 and it’s a well-optimized UI, so there won’t be any problem while using the smartphone in day to day life.
Good to see, Vivo has launched a smartphone with Android 12.
Now, keep in mind, Fun Touch OS comes with lots of pre-installed apps which is not the best experience and even after paying 39k, you will need to Uninstall all the third-party apps by yourself.

If you have never used Fun Touch OS then first watch some of the videos on YouTube and if you like the UI then go buy Vivo V23 Pro 5G.
Overall, there won’t be any kind of problem while playing games or even using a smartphone in day to day life, the only thing you need to consider is OS, everything else is perfect.
Cameras
Here comes the key factor, the Vivo V23 Pro 5G is a camera-centric smartphone and yet it has some flows.
The phone comes with 108MP primary sensor, 8MP ultra-wide lens, and 2MP macro sensor while there are 50MP + 8MP dual selfie cameras. The front, as well as rear camera, can shoot videos up to [email protected] & [email protected]
Vivo is known for selfie cameras and this time, Vivo has added two flashlights on the front which will help you when you take selfies at night.
These two spotlight makes a huge impact under low lights, you can also choose light temperature which is another good feature.
The front camera also takes good images even at night but somehow, it tries to whiten the images, in short, it won’t give you natural colours, it will make your face white.
Now I don’t think anyone will complain about this but if you’re that person who wants natural colours then you should skip the Vivo V23 Pro 5G.
Also, the front 8MP ultra-wide lens also takes a good image and there is no doubt about the 50MP front camera too. Overall, you will love the front cameras.
Coming to the rear camera, the 108MP sensor also takes good images in good light but again somehow, the sensor tries to add extra red colours under the low light and that’s why the night images will come out with a bit of red tint.
There is no issue when it comes to day photography, it takes good images with no problems. Also, the 8MP sensor does its job, no issue with that too.
Now, that 2MP macro sensor is just for number, so if you can, ignore it.
Overall, Vivo V23 Pro 5G has a good camera and it also shoots good videos too. So for the price of Rs 39k, no complaint.
Pro tip: Make sure to check out Vivo V23 Pro 5G in the offline market because you might get the phone at about 35k because Vivo phones are cheaper in offline shops compared to online.
Audio Quality
The Vivo V23 Pro 5G doesn’t have a stereo Speaker, it only has a single bottom-firing speaker. The speaker is also loud no problems there but as this is a 39k smartphone, Vivo should have added dual speakers.
It also has a secondary noise cancellation microphone along with carrier aggregation which will help a lot in calls.
Overall, the speaker quality is average and there is no problem with calling.
Battery Life
Yes, the Vivo V23 Pro 5G only has a 7.4mm body that means, the battery will be small.
So Vivo V23 Pro 5G has a 4,300mAh battery with 44W fast charging support. It will take about 30 minutes to charge from 1% to 63%.
In short, if you’re a heavy user then get ready to charge the device two times or if you’re a casual user like me then you need to charge the device at about 7 PM.
