Is it Worth Buying Worth Vivo V27 5G?
Vivo V Series phones have always been on the higher side and the Vivo V27 5G is doing the same here, it is a pricey phone and it is targeted more toward offline stores.
Vivo V27 5G Price
The device comes in Noble Black and Magic Blue color options and it’s available via Flipkart IN.
Is it Worth Buying Worth Vivo V27 5G?
No, the Vivo V27 5G is not worth buying but if you’re a fan of Vivo then do consider it but keep in mind, this is a highly overpriced smartphone for what it offers. Instant, take look at Nothing Phone (1) which is better at everything and is also available at a lower price.
Now, this doesn’t mean, Vivo V27 5G is the worst smartphone, the only problem is the price. The phone doesn’t worth the 33k from any angle but as this is a V series phone, it will sell thousands of units offline as well as online.
This is the perfect phone for a 25k price tag or even for 27k but at Rs 32999, this isn’t worth it.
Vivo V27 5G Specs
The Vivo V27 5G comes with a 6.78-inches 120Hz AMOLED curved display with a resolution of 2400 × 1080 Pixels. It also has support for widevine L1 and In-display fingerprint sensor.
Now, yes, the display quality is solid and you will be more than happy with its quality. So whether you want to watch movies or play games, you will get the best experience.

Vivo is also using color-changing glass which means, if go outside and keep the phone under the sunlight then the back side will change its color. This is cool but wasn’t necessary at all (Nothing Phone 1, cough cough).
This is another reason why Vivo kept the price on the higher side.
The Build quality is kind of okay as it has plastic frames which don’t feel good at all.
Overall, the display quality is the best for the Rs 32,999 price tag, however, can’t say the same for the build while the design is fabulous.
The Mediatek Dimensity 7200 is slightly better than the Snapdragon 778G, so yes, there won’t be any kind of problems while using the device in day-to-day usage but keep in mind, this is not the best option for heavy gaming.
There are also 6 5G bands but it’s missing the n77 band, nonetheless, it has n1, n3, n5, n8, n28A, and n78 5G Bands.
The device runs on Fun Touch OS 13 based on Android 13 which is always a good thing but Vivo didn’t mention how many updates the phone will get.
Again, the Fun Touch OS has changed over the years but it’s not the best Android skin out there, it has lots of bugs along with ads in the UI. Yes, even after paying 33k, you will have to see ads.
Overall, The Vivo V27 5G is made for normal usage, don’t buy it if you’re a hardcore gamer.

The Vivo V27 5G has the same cameras as the Vivo V27 Pro 5G but the quality is not the same.
The Vivo V27 5G has 50MP primary sensor, 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP depth sensor while there is 8MP front camera. Both cameras can shoot videos at [email protected]/60fps & [email protected]/60fps.
The 50MP primary sensor has the OIS which works great only in [email protected]/60fps, doesn’t work well in 4k at all.
The quality of the video was great but as this is Vivo’s smartphone, there is a bit of saturation and softness in the videos I shot. Other than that, you will be more than happy with how Vivo is handling the videos.
Again, the 50MP primary sensor takes good images even under low lights but as I have said the images are not close to natural, they’re saturated and a bit on the whiter side.
The night shots are also good as Vivo has added light around the read cameras which creates a ring effect in the eyes.
The 8MP ultra-wide lens does its job, it’s not the best or worst. It could have been better but nowadays, no one is working on the ultra-wide lens in the mid-premium segment.
The 50MP front camera is rock solid, and you will be more than happy with but again, the images are on the whiter side other than that, Vivo has done a good job.
Still, I feel, Nothing Phone 1 takes better images or Videos than the Vivo V27 5G. There you go, now, choose which brand you like the most.
Audio and Battery Life
This is a 33k smartphone and yet it doesn’t have a stereo speaker, it has a single bottom speaker which is not acceptable at all, also there is no 3.5mm audio jack either.
Now, the 4,600mAh battery won’t last all day long but that 66W wired fast charging will help a lot, also yes, the charger is provided in the box.
