Is It Worth Buying RealMe GT Master Edition?

RealMe GT Master Edition Review

RealMe GT Series is the new RealMe X Series because Realme has officially killed the X series. Now, we have a new smartphone under the GT series which RealMe GT Master Edition.

As I have said in the review of RealMe GT Master Edition, this is not the best smartphone under Rs 30000 price tag but it’s worth looking at.

So today, let’s see whether you should spend 26k to buy RealMe GT Master Edition or Not? but before that let me share with you the India price.

The RealMe GT Master Edition price in India starts from Rs 25,999 for 6GB of Ram and 128GB storage while 8GB + 128GB storage variant is priced at Rs 27,999. Now, if you want more storage then there is also an 8GB + 256GB storage variant and it’s priced at Rs 29,999 in India.

The RealMe GT Master Edition is available in Gray, White, Aurora colour options and it will go for sale on 25 August 2021 via Flipkart at noon.

Is It Worth Buying RealMe GT Master Edition?

No, RealMe GT Master Edition is not worth buying because we already have RealMe X7 Max 5G at a lower price, so it doesn’t make any sense to pay extra just because it’s a new smartphone. The RealMe GT Master Edition has a 120Hz smooth display, Snapdragon 778 SoC and massive 65W fast charging support.

The RealMe GT Master Edition is just a small upgrade from RealMe X7 Max.

Disadvantages of RealMe GT Master Edition

The RealMe GT Master Edition is made out of plastic, it has a plastic frame and back while there is no SD-card slot. No mention of display protection, ads in the UI, no Stereo Speakers, and it has average cameras.

RealMe GT Master Edition Features

The RealMe GT Master Edition comes with a 6.43-inches 120Hz AMOLED display and 1000 nits of display brightness. RealMe haven’t clarified which glass protection they have used, so can’t comment on that, I will let you as soon as I know.

The RealMe GT Master Edition comes with a 64MP primary sensor, 8MP ultra-wide lens, and 2MP depth sensor while there is a 32MP selfie shooter. The rear cameras can shoot videos up to 4k@30fps while the front can record up to 1080p@30fps.

The RealMe GT Master Edition is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 778 SoC and it’s running on RealMe 2.0 based on Android 11 and the phone will get Android 12 as soon as OPPO launches Color OS 12.

The RealMe GT Master Edition comes with a 4,300 mAh battery with 65W fast charging support. The phone will take about 33 minutes to charge from 0% to 100% with a 65W charger.

The RealMe GT Master Edition doesn’t have stereo speakers but it does have a secondary noise cancellation microphone which will ensure good call quality.

If you don’t want to buy RealMe GT Master Edition, just go for Moto Edge 20 or OnePlus Nord 2 but if you want a gaming smartphone then you can also take look at the POCO F3 GT (read review).

Conclusion: Buy or Not?

As I have said, RealMe GT Master Edition is not worth buying because we better phone under Rs 30000, so it doesn’t make any sense to buy RealMe GT Master Edition.
