Is it Worth Buying Motorola Edge 20?
Motorola is back with a bang, they have launched Motorola Edge 20 in India and it’s priced at Rs 29,999 for 8GB of Ram and 128GB of storage.
This is a special smartphone because Motorola has nailed at basic features. I have already posted Moto Edge 20 review but today let’s see whether you should spend Rs 29,999 on the phone or not?
Update: Motorola Edge 20 just launched in the UK at £429.99 for 8GB of Ram and 128GB storage. Yes, it’s expensive in the UK but still, looking at the competition in the UK, still, Moto Edge 20 is worth buying.

Is It Worth Buying Motorola Edge 20?
Yes, Motorola Edge 20 is worth buying because it has a 6.67-inches 144Hz 10bit OLED display with a 576Hz touch sampling rate along with a powerful Snapdragon 778 processor. The phone will also get the updates up to Android 13 while it has an Impressive Camera Setup. Overall, Moto Edge 20 is a value for money device and it’s worth looking at the 30k price tag.

The Moto Edge 20 also has some cons which are, there is a 3.5mm audio jack, no SD-card slot, No OIS support, the back is made out of plastic, and No Stereo Speakers.
As you can see, no company will give the perfect smartphone and this is the case with Moto edge 20. The only problem I have is with OIS, Motorola should have added the OIS.
Everything else is common on all the other smartphones.
Motorola Edge 20 Features
The Moto Edge 20 comes with a 6.70-inches 144Hz 10bit OLED display with a 576Hz touch sampling rate. Coming to display protection, Motorola didn’t say anything about the front glass while there is plastic on the rear side.
By the way, Moto Edge 20 does have Widevine L1 support that means, you will be able to stream FHD+ content on the OTT Platform.

Motorola Edge 20 is the first phone to feature Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G processor in India. The chipset is built on 6nm and it has Adreno 642L GPU while there is an Octa-core (1×2.4 GHz Kryo 670 Prime & 3×2.2 GHz Kryo 670 Gold & 4×1.9 GHz Kryo 670 Silver) CPU inside.
It’s running on Android 11 with Moto Feature but it’s close to stock Android. Motorola has promised two years of Android OS updates and three years of security updates.
By the way, Moto Edge 20 also has Ready For PC Implementation that will let you use the Motorola Edge 20 on Windows PC or even Smart TV. You will be able to accept calls, messages and everything directly on PC. You just have to download the Ready for PC software on your device and scan the code and you go to go.
Moto Edge 20 comes with 108MP primary sensor, 16MP ultra-wide, and 3X 8MP telephoto lens while there is a 32MP selfie shooter. The rear cameras can shoot videos up to [email protected] while the front can shoot up to [email protected]
The phone has a 7mm body and that’s why it only has a 4,000 mAh battery with support for 30W wired fast charging support. Motorola has provided type-C to type-C cable for charging which is a plus point.
Conclusion
As I have said, Motorola Edge 20 offers great value under Rs 30,000 price tag. Still, if you don’t like the Moto Edge 20 then you can also take look at, OnePlus Nord 2 5G, POCO F3 GT 5G, Mi 11X, IQOO 7, RealMe X7 Max 5G or even OPPO Reno 6 5G.
