Is it Worth Buying LG K42?
No, LG K42 is not worth buying because the phone has a weak processor, decent camera setup, smaller battery size, slow charging support, HD display, complicated OS and it’s priced at Rs 10,900 which is not the actual price, they are charging way more. In short, it’s not worth buying & Overpriced.
The phone is powered by MediaTek Helio P22 which is a budget centric processor and LG is providing in 11k smartphone which is not acceptable.
There are tons of smartphone available at 11k which offers MediaTek Helio G80, G85 and G95 chipset. You can take look at Redmi 9 Prime, POCO M2 and other at the same price as LG K42.
Coming to cameras, it has quad-camera setup from which primary and Ultra-Wide will be useable, those 2MP+2MP sensors are just there to make numbers. So, don’t expect much from the camera department.
LG has also used 4,000 mAh battery and they have provided 10W charging support.
Conclusion
If you want only LG branded phone and that’s it, you don’t care about anything else then yes, you can buy LG K42 but if you want about value for money product then it’s better to skip LG K42 and see, what come up with next…
