Samsung Galaxy M32 5G Review

Samsung Galaxy M32 5G Review

The Galaxy M32 5G would have been a killer smartphone under Rs 20000 but you can’t expect everything as this is a Samsung smartphone.

That’s why Galaxy M32 5G is not for everyone but why? this is what we will find out in this review but before that, let me share with you the India price of the Galaxy M32 5G.

Samsung Galaxy M32 5G Review

The Galaxy M32 5G is not worth buying. The phone has an HD TFT 60Hz display while it’s made out of plastic. It also has an average camera setup while it only supports 15W charging.

Samsung does have included 12 5G bands but you can’t just buy a phone because of 5G only. Overall, if you wanted to buy Samsung branded phone then this could be a good option, otherwise, it doesn’t justify the 21k price tag.

Old Design

That was the Pros and Cons of Galaxy M32 5G. Now let’s talk in-depth and find out, what Samsung has to offer this time.

Samsung Galaxy M32 5G Display Quality

The Galaxy M32 5G comes with an HD+ 6.50-inches TFT display with a 60Hz refresh rate. Now, we have phones with 120Hz, 90Hz AMOLED display’s under the 20k price tag, so it doesn’t make any sense to buy a smartphone with an HD TFT display.

As I have said, if you wanted to buy only a Samsung smartphone then this could be a good option but if you want the best smartphone then just skip the Galaxy M32 5G.

Samsung didn’t mention what kind of glass protection they have used on the front side while on the other side, it has a plastic back and plastic frame.

As this is an HD+ display, it doesn’t have Wide Vine L1 Support, so you won’t able to watch FHD+ content on OTT apps.

Overall, the display quality is not that great, considering the TFT panel, it’s good. Now, the TFT display should have launched under a 10k price tag and not a 20k price tag.

In short, you will be disappointed with the display but if you haven’t used the AMOLED panel then you won’t see, huge difference but if you have used AMOLED then let’s face it, you’re wasting 21k on Samsung Logo.

Samsung Galaxy M32 5G Performance

The Galaxy M32 5G is powered by MediaTek MT6853 Dimensity 720 processor and it’s running on OneUI 3.1 based on Android 11. Samsung has also promised two years of OS updates which means, the phone will get Android 13.

The chipset is powerful enough to play almost all the games without any problem. So there won’t be any kind of problem while using the phone or playing games.

Samsung is marketing Galaxy M32 5G as 5G smartphone. Now, this is true as the phone has almost 12 5G bands.

Overall, the phone has a good processor and the UI is well optimized, so nothing to worry about performance.

Samsung Galaxy M32 5G Cameras

It comes with a 48MP primary sensor, 8MP ultra-wide lens, 5MP macro, and 2MP depth rear camera while there is a 13MP selfie shooter. Both the rear & front cameras can shoot video up to 1080p@30fps.

Again, the Galaxy M32 5G doesn’t have OIS support. So don’t expect the footage to come out to be stable.

Coming to a 48MP primary sensor, this is a good sensor but Samsung needs to optimize the sensor for the Galaxy M32 5G. The images are way beyond the natural colours which won’t be a huge issue for most Samsung users.

Shot on Galaxy M32 5G

The 8MP ultra-wide lens also lacks details, and the dynamic range is also not great.

Now, the phone does have a 5MP macro + 2MP depth but these sensors are just for numbers and marketing, don’t expect much from two extra sensors.

The 13MP front camera is also the same as the 48MP primary sensor, not exactly. The front camera feels like, you’re taking a selfie from a 10k smartphone.

Overall, the Galaxy M32 5G has decent camera setup which won’t be an issue for Samsung users because most of the Samsung smartphone under 20k has the same camera setup.

Samsung Galaxy M32 5G Battery Life

The Samsung Galaxy M32 5G comes with a 5,000 mAh battery with 15W fast charging support. As the phone has a TFT HD display, the battery will last for two days because HD+ consume less power as compared to FHD panels.

Now, most smartphones under 20k come with 30W, 65W, 50W and even 20W fast charging support but Samsung decided to use 15W fast charging.

Overall, the battery will last for two days but if you’re a heavy user then it might be dead in a day.

Samsung Galaxy M32 5G Audio Quality

You want to guess the speakers, no worries, I will tell you,

The Galaxy M32 5G has a single bottom-firing speaker which is loud but it can’t compete with stereo speakers. The call quality is good, here Samsung has done a good job.

In short, as this is a Samsung phone, can’t expect stereo speakers.
