Dizo Watch D Plus Review
Yes, Dizo Watch D Plus is worth buying because it comes with a smooth watch UI, all the necessary fitness features, a larger display with 550 nits brightness, Aluminum Frame while the watch available at Rs 1999 which is a good price for what Dizo is offering.
Now, read this very carefully because Dizo has made a huge mess in their smartwatch lineup,
Dizo Watch 2 Sports is available at Rs 2499 while Dizo Watch D is available at Rs 2999 and the newly launched Dizo Watch D Plus is available at Rs 1999.

Fun Fact, all these watches have almost the same specs, the only difference is price.
Now, I’m not adding any Indian brands here because they have the worst watch UI and app support, so my suggestion would be, to stay away from them because you’re paying your hardcore money and you should get value at whatever price you pay.
Back to the Dizo Watch D Plus,
By looking at everything from price to features, it’s one of the best options available under Rs 3000 in India.

Display, Build, and Design
The Dizo Watch D Plus comes with a 1.85-inches TFT display with a resolution of 240 x 280 pixels and 550 nits pick brightness.
When I heard that this was Rs 1999 smartwatch, I was kind of sure that it will have massive bezels but when I got the watch, the bezels were not that huge which in itself is a plus point.
So what I’m trying to say is, the Dizo Watch D Plus doesn’t look ugly at all.
The strap is made from Rubber and Silicone so the watch doesn’t feel uncomfortable at all. The watch has 42 grams of weight which because of the used Aluminum Frame.
The Aluminum Frame is matt which looks amazing, it gives you that premium feeling while it doesn’t catch the fingerprint at all.

The 550 brightness also helps a lot when using a smartwatch outdoors, you will easily able to read the text or access the watch without any problem.
So yes, whether it’s display, build, or even design, Dizo has nailed it and on top of that, Rs 1999 is charry on top.
Watch UI and Application
No one knows, what kind of OS Dizo is using but it’s smooth and fast, so I’m not complaining at all.
The watch has all the features that a smartwatch should have from Blood Oxygen Monitor, Sleep Tracking, Sedentary Reminder, Female Cycle, Distance, and even Drinking Reminder.
Now, to pack all the things together, Dizo has provided Dizo App where you will able to update the watch, change the watch faces, select which sport mode you want to use, sleep data, and even heart rate monitoring data.
The app and even watch UI are simple to use, so even if you’re using the smartwatch for the first time then you won’t have a hard time understanding.
Health and Fitness Tracking
This is Rs 1999, so you won’t get the built-in GPS but it does have a connected GPS and to use that, you will have to connect the Dizo Watch D Plus to your smartphone 24/7.
The watch also has all the necessary sensors from 3-Axis Accelerometer, Optical Heart Rate Sensor, SpO2 (Blood Oxygen Saturation Level), and Wearing Monitoring.
Also, just like every other Dizo smartwatch, the Dizo Watch D Plus provides close to accurate data. It doesn’t feel that Dizo has used cheap sensors, the used sensors are as good as any other budget smartwatch.
The watch also counts the step accurately but again, this is a budget smartwatch, so keep the error margin of around 5% to be on the safe side.
Now, do note that you won’t get the same health data as the oximeter. For example, if the oximeter is showing a 96bpm heart rate then the Dizo Watch D Plus will show the 99bpm. So just like, step count, keep the error margin of around 5% to be on the safe side.
In short, the watch is adding an extra 3 bpm whether it’s in SpO2 or heart rate.
I don’t know the reason behind it, so I hope Dizo fixes this problem with the OTA update.
Dizo has also added sleep monitoring too including the NREM Stage 1, light sleep, deep sleep, and REM sleep. It can also detect Daytime naps, and Sleep breathing. While you can access the sleep data on the Dizo application.

By the way, I think you already know this but still, this is a smart band and it can give you a rough number, so don’t rely 100% on it, if you have some serious health problem.
Battery Life
The Dizo Watch D Plus comes with a 300mAh battery and to charge from 0% to 100%, it will take about 2 hours.
Dizo has claimed that the watch will last for 14 days but that is just a claim.
In real life, expect the battery life to be around 12 days with normal usage but if you use all the features from heart rate, SpO2, and even Sleep monitoring then expect the battery life to be around 7 to 9 days.
The battery can also last for 4 days if you use the watch while exercising for 1 hour every day.
So yes, battery life will depend on how you use the watch in day-to-day life.
