RealMe GT 5G Review

RealMe GT Series is here to stay because RealMe has Cancelled the RealMe X Series. So, now let’s take look at the new member of the GT series which is RealMe GT 5G and this flagship smartphone from RealMe.

The phone does have powerful Snapdragon 888 SoC, so is it worth spending Rs 37,999 on RealMe GT 5G? we will find out but before that let me share with you India Price.

RealMe GT 5G price in India starts from Rs 37,999 for 8GB of Ram and 128GB storage while 12GB Ram and 256GB storage variant is priced at Rs 41,999.

The phone is available in Gold/Black, Blue, Silver colour options and it will go for sale on 25 August 2021 at noon via Flipkart.

Is It Worth Buying RealMe GT 5G?

RealMe GT Master Edition Review
RealMe GT Master Edition Review

No, RealMe GT 5G is not worth the Rs 37,999 price tag because we have phones like IQOO 7 Legend and many more with better specs. So it doesn’t make any sense to buy the RealMe GT 5G. The phone comes with a 120Hz smooth AMOLED display, 65W fast charging, powerful Snapdragon 888 SoC and 4500 mAh battery.

RealMe is charging way more money for just Snapdragon 888 SoC. No, doubt, the processor is power but when it comes to the camera, it doesn’t justify the 38k price tag.

I have also posted a web story for reasons to not buy RealMe GT 5G. The thing is, I was expecting a good camera setup because RealMe has said that, GT series will be the flagship series.

Take look at the advantages and disadvantages of RealMe GT 5G?

Advantages of RealMe GT 5G

The RealMe GT 5G comes with seven 5G bands, a smooth 120hz AMOLED display with pick brightness of 1000 nits, a unique design, stereo speaker, 3.5mm audio jack, powerful processor, and massive 65W fast charging support.

Disadvantage of RealMe GT 5G

The RealMe GT 5G does have a powerful processor but it doesn’t have a good camera, the frame is made out of plastic, the UI has ads, filled with pre-installed apps, and it’s a bit pricey.

RealMe GT 5G Features

The RealMe GT 5G comes with a 6.43-inches FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display. It has a pick brightness of 1000 nits and a 360 touch sampling rate.

This is where things get tricky. The RealMe GT 5G comes with a 64MP primary sensor, 8MP ultra-wide lens, and 2MP depth sensor while there is a 16MP selfie shooter.

The rear camera can shoot videos up to [email protected] and the front can record up to [email protected] It doesn’t have OIS support but it does have EIS support.

We have seen many smartphones with Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC and there is nothing to say about the chipset. The RealMe GT 5G also has the Snapdragon 888 SoC, so there is nothing to worry about performance.

The RealMe GT 5G comes with a 4,500 mAh battery with 65W fast charging support. The 65W charger will take about 35 minutes to charge from 0% to 100%.

The RealMe GT 5G comes with Stereo Speaker which performs very good. Also, the device also has a secondary noise cancellation microphone which will ensure good call quality.

Conclustion

Again, RealMe GT 5G is not a bad smartphone, the price is bad. The phone should have launched below 35k, looks like RealMe has become greedy.

Do let me know, what you think about the RealMe GT 5G in a comment, love to know your thoughts.
