Is it Worth buying Realme 6?
Realme 6 is launched in India and this is not a ‘PRO’ version but still, realme is calling it new Pro. Yes, the RealMe 6 has everything which you can’t expect at 13k price tag but still, it’s not the only phone available in this price range. So let’s find out whether you should buy this phone or not?
Performance
RealMe 6 is powered by MediaTek Helio G90T which is a powerful chipset when it comes to gaming but its build on 12nm technology, so you do get good stuff but bad stuff as well. Overall, you can’t complain about the processor because Xiaomi also launched the Redmi Note 8 Pro at 15k with the same processor.
So yes gaming is going to be superb, nothing to complain about performance
Cameras
Talking about cameras, the phone has a Quad camera setup featuring 64MP Samsung GW1 sensor which we have seen in a premium phone as well as in budget phones, so nothing to complain here. Overall, I would say what you’re getting at 13k is good enough, you can ask for more.
Keep in mind, the camera quality is not going to be the same as Realme 6 Pro or not as good as Realme X50 Pro. If a phone has a 64MP sensor that doesn’t mean cameras are going to be top-notch. Companies use these big megapixels to market the phone, that’s it.
Overall, at 13k price, I would say camera quality to not that bad.
Battery life
The phone has 4,300 mAh non-removable battery with 30W Flash charging support an as per realme, that 30W charger can charge 0% to 100% in only 60-minutes. In short, you will get a 1-day battery life.
Conclusion
Yes, RealMe 6 is worth buying because it has a 90Hz screen refresh rate, 120Hz touch sampling ratio, MediaTek Helio G90T, 4,300 battery with 30W fast charging support and all these things you’re getting at Rs 13,000. So yes, you can buy Realme 6 and it’s worth buying at 13k.
In the end, I just want to say one thing, if you want to buy a new phone below 20k then wait for Redmi Note 9 series which is launching in India on 12th March 2020. So see, what you get with Redmi Note 9 series and what price it comes in, if you get a better deal then realme 6 series then go with Redmi note 9 series.
