Is it Worth buying OnePlus 8 Pro?
OnePlus 8 Pro comes with 6.78 inches QHD+ display, HDR 10/10+ support, 30W fast Wireless Charging, Snapdragon 865 chip with 5G connectivity, OxygenOS on top of Android 10, 120Hz screen refresh rate, IP68 waterproof, also it has Quad camera setup and the phone is priced at Rs 54,999 for 8GB and 128GB storage.
If you remember, I said, OnePlus 8 is not worth buying because the phone doesn’t have 42k specifications but this is not the case with OnePlus 8 Pro because this one has everything which 55k phone should have.

Is it Worth buying OnePlus 8 Pro?
Yes, OnePlus 8 Pro is worth buying at Rs 54,999. I mean you’re getting premium specification at a very good price range. OnePlus 8 Pro has IP68 waterproof, comes with 30W fast wired & Wireless Charging, 120Hz screen refresh rate, all-new Snapdragon 865 chip with 5G connectivity. What else you want, in short, you can buy OnePlus 8 Pro without any doubt.
One thing you need to know about wireless charging,
** The phone can’t be charged at 30W in every wireless charger, to charge at 30W, you need to buy OnePlus’s wireless charger which costs around Rs 3,990. You can not charge OnePlus 8 Pro at 30W with your wireless charger, it doesn’t matter whether your charger support up to 40W wireless charger or more, can not be used on OnePlus 8 Pro.
Coming to cameras, we have Quad camera setup but not 64MP or 108 MP camera setup instant of that OnePlus went with 48MP camera setup. The phone comes with 48MP Sony IMX689 with f/1.78 aperture, again 48MP ultra-wide lens, 8MP telephoto lens, and 5MP Color Filter Lens which will come in handy for Instagram lovers.
Conclusion
I know the price is a little bit more then what OnePlus 7 Pro had but the specification you’re getting is not what OnePlus 7 Pro had. So yes, this time you’re paying a premium price for OnePlus smartphone but you’re also getting premium specification. Still, if you think OnePlus 8 Pro is overpriced then you can go with Samsung S20 series or iPhone 11 or Pro version.
