Is it Worth Buying Samsung Galaxy M13 5G?

No, the Galaxy M13 5G is not worth buying because it only has an HD LED display with 400 nits brightness, average cameras, only 15W charging support, plastic build, unspecified 5G Bands, decent processor, and still, Samsung is charging Rs 13999 which is not justifiable at all.

Cameras

The device has 50MP + 2MP rear and 5MP front cameras,

Now that the 2MP sensor is not useable at all, it’s added for showcase because Samsung can’t just launch a smartphone with a single rear camera, it doesn’t look great.

The 50MP sensor doesn’t do much either, it takes good images under good lighting, also, most of the images are saturated too. Under low light, things will get crazy because the images don’t look that great, no sign of details, mess up the dynamic range too.

Just like we forget the 2MP sensor, you should also forget that the device has 5MP front cameras.

Display

For your reference, we have phones with 120Hz AMOLED display, 120hz LED display, and 90hz OLED display under Rs 15000 in India but Samsung decided to go with 6.50-inches 90Hz LED display.

The brightness is also not that good, the 400 nits brightness is not good enough to use a smartphone outdoors. By the way, the device has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

Performance

The MediaTek MT6833 Dimensity 700 is a decent processor, so don’t expect to play heavy games. For day-to-day use, you will see some frame drops here and there. It runs on OneUI 4 Core based on Android 12, there is no mention of how many OS updates this device will get.

In short, you will be able to use social media and a little bit of gaming.

Battery Life

The 5000mAh battery will last for a day but the 15W charger will take hall lot of time to charge from 0% to 100.

Still, in the end, it will depend on how you use the smartphone.

Audio

It only has a single speaker at the bottom which doesn’t;t sound that great, we have tons of smartphones at Rs 13999 that offer dual speakers.

By the way, the device doesn’t have carrier aggregation but it does have a 3.5mm, Audio Jack.

Verdict

I will say the same thing again, if you’re that person who doesn’t like any other smartphones then Samsung’s then the Galaxy M13 5G could be a good smartphone to consider.

Now, for those who want to buy value for money device, just stay away from the Galaxy M13 5G…

Still, have any questions, do let me know in the comments.
