Motorola Edge 30 5G Review

Motorola is doing great in India, they have launched some of the best smartphones at a great price. In short, Motorola is doing what OnePlus used to do in its early days.

The Motorola Edge 30 5G is available at Rs 27,999 for 6GB Ram + 128GB storage while 8GB Ram + 128GB storage variant is priced at Rs 29,999 in India. The device comes in Meteor Grey and Aurora Green color option while it will go for sale on 19th May 2022 at noon via Flipkart.

The newly launched Motorola Edge 30 5G does have its flows which I have already talked about in a recent review but today, let’s whether you should spend Rs 27999 to buy Moto Edge 30 5G or not?

Is it Worth Buying Motorola Edge 30 5G?

Definitely yes, Motorola Edge 30 5G is worth buying because it checks all the boxes, the device has the latest Snapdragon 778 Plus Processor, 50MP triple cameras with OIS, clean Android Experience, solid battery life, 13 5G Bands, dual speakers, and it’s also available at a good price, in short, its value for money device.

Now, the phone does have its flow, it only has a 4020mAh battery, the rear & frame are made out of plastic, and the front camera needs improvement but even after that, it’s a good device because it’s also some great features.

Starting from that powerful Snapdragon 778+ processor, smooth 144Hz pOLED display, solid battery life, fast charging support, light-weight design, stereo speakers, great camera setup and it’s available at Rs 27999 which is a good price considering its specifications.

We all know that no mobile brand or even any other company will give you everything in a single smartphone, they will go cost-cutting. So in the end, you have to decide, what you want in your next smartphone.

Coming to the Motorola Edge 30 5G

The Motorola Edge 30 5G comes with 6.50-inches 144Hz pOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The front is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 while the rear & frame is made out of plastic.

The device is powered by an all-new Qualcomm Snapdragon 778 Plus processor while it runs on My UX 3.0 based on Android 12. Motorola has also promised two years of OS updates and three years of security updates.

The rear camera can shoot videos at 4k@30fps, and 1080p@30/60fps while the front can shoot videos at 4k@30fps and 1080p@30fps.

After a long time, Motorola has decided to add the stereo speakers and yes, it works great.

By the way, the device has only a 4020mAh battery with 33W fast charging support and yes, the charger is provided with the box.

Verdict

If you want a great user experience then as of now, there is no better mobile brand than Motorola because they offer clean Android and they also add put ads in the UI and that’s the reason, why Motorola changes a little bit premium compared to RealMe Or Xiaomi.

When Companies add ads in the UI, they can launch the smartphone at a cheaper price but when there are no ads in the UI, the phone price will be premium and that’s the case with Motorola.

If you ask me, I would pay a little bit of premium to get an ad-free smartphone but if you feel that, I can live with ads then you can also consider the brands like RealMe or even Xiaomi.

Coming back to the Motorola Edge 30 5G, it’s a great smartphone, and as I have said, it does have its flows but even after that, it’s worth buying.

Still, if you have any kind of questions then do let me know in the comment, I would love to help you out, see you there…
