Jio AirFiber Launched: Price, Plans, and Free OTT Apps

JioAirFiber is launched in India at the starting price of Rs 599 per month which will provide 30Mbps speed with free 14 ott apps. As of now, it is available in 8 cities which are Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad,  Kolkata, Mumbai, and Pune.

It will be available all over India but when, we have to wait and see. Now, let’s see other plans for JioAirfiber.

JioAirFiber Price and Availability

You have to pay Rs 1000 installation charges which will be waived with a 12-month plan. However, if you opt for only a 6-month plan then Rs 1000 won’t be waived off.

Also, there is no monthly plan available at the launch time, you either have to opt for a 6-month or 12-month plan. You can also opt for EMI on long-term plans.

Jio AirFiber Availability

Jio will start shipping the Jio AirFiber from 1th October 2023. Jio will also send their technician to your home for installation. He/she will figure out the best place to put Jio AirFiber and give you all the information you need.

You can either visit the Official Jio Store or Visit Jio.com for registration. If you’re phone a person then you can also give a missed call on “60008-60008” for registration. Jio will charge Rs 100 for registration which will then be adjusted later.

Also, keep in mind, that this is not plug and play kind of situation. The technician will choose a place where you have to place the Jio AirFiber and you can’t move the router otherwise it won’t work properly.

For reference, you will get the main Jio AirFiber router which you have to keep in your room, and another router will be placed outside your house for a 5G connection.

So technically, even if the light goes off in your house and if you have power back up for the JioAirfiber then you will still be able to access the internet because this has a JioSiM card.
