The newly launched Redmi Note 11 priced at Rs 13,499 for 4GB of Ram and 64GB storage, another 6GB Ram + 64GB variant is priced at Rs 14,999 while bigger 8GB Ram + 128GB storage variant is available at Rs 15,999.
The smartphone is available in Horizon Blue, Starburst White, and Space Black color options and it will go for sale on 11th February 2022 via Amazon India.

Redmi Note 11 Review
Yes, Redmi Note 11 is worth buying because it has a 90Hz AMOLED display, superfast 33W charging support, solid battery life, and even decent cameras, overall, it’s a good smartphone at the same time, it’s not the only smartphone available under Rs 15,000 in India.
Of course, Xiaomi has made some compromises, the processor is not that powerful, so if you wanted to buy a smartphone for gaming then you should skip the Redmi Note 11 and take look at Motorola G51 5G or even Infinix Note 11s.

The cameras are also decent.
Overall, Xiaomi is charging an extra 1k because of the chipset shortage or because of GST. So if you wanted to buy only a Redmi smartphone then this could be a good option to consider otherwise, take look at this list.

Display Quality
The Redmi Note 11 comes with a 6.40-inches 90Hz AMOLED display with a pick brightness of 1000 nits and 180Hz of the touch sampling rate.
On the rear side, it has plastic and the frame is also made out of plastic while the front is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
The phone does have Widevine L1 support which means, you will be able to watch FHD+ content on OTT apps.
The good thing is, Redmi is gone with a 90Hz refresh rate which is an upgrade from the last generation.

Even the display panel is good, with no issue with viewing angle or using smartphone outdoor, that 1000 nits help a lot.
Overall, Redmi has done a good job with display and as of now, this is the only smartphone that has a 90Hz AMOLED display under 15k in India.
Performance
As I have said in RealMe 9i Review, Snapdragon 680 is a battery effect processor but it’s not the best for gaming, so let me just borrow some paragraphs from that review.
The 6nm architecture will help a lot in battery life, so yes, Redmi Note 11 should give a better battery life compared to other smartphones but that doesn’t mean, it will be faster.
So if you’re a gamer then I don’t recommend you to buy this smartphone because it’s not made for gaming, it’s a decent processor and it will give you good performance in day-to-day life.
For gaming, you should consider the Motorola G51 5G or even Infinix Note 11s.
By the way, Redmi Note 11 runs on MIUI 13 based on Android 11, still, no Android 12.
Now, keep in mind, MIUI 13 is a powerful UI and it also needs a powerful processor, in this case, Redmi Note 11 doesn’t have a powerful processor.
Maybe for some time, the phone will work fine but after some time, it may feel slower because of the heavy skin.
I will say it again, Xiaomi needs to re-design MIUI for budget smartphones like what Samsung did with OneUI. This way, the smartphone will work fine and the user didn’t need to use other skins on Xiaomi phones.
Overall, if you’re a casual user who doesn’t play heavy games like BGIM or COD Mobile all day long then you won’t face any problem but if you’re a heavy gamer then you should skip the Redmi Note 11.
Cameras
Redmi Note 11 has 50MP primary sensor, 8MP ultra-wide lens, 2MP macro sensor, and 2MP depth sensor on the rear side while there is a 13MP selfie shooter on the front.
Both the rear and front cameras can shoot videos up to 1080p@30fps.
Before you read further, forget about those 2MP+2MP sensors, they are added for numbers, they won’t do much, you can see it as a showcase.
The 50MP primary sensor takes some good image under good lighting condition but when it comes to low light, the sensor suffers a bit and lose out on details.
Redmi has provided night mode within the stock camera app but still, it doesn’t take good images under low lights.
The smartphone price starts from Rs 13,499, now, considering the price tag, the cameras are not that great. Redmi needs to work on the camera and I feel, they can improve the primary sensor with one or two OTA updates.
The 8MP ultra-wide lens is kinda decent, it takes good images but it’s not the best. One thing to note is don’t use the ultra-wide lens at night because the ultra-wide image won’t be useable.
By the way, an ultra-wide lens does take good images in daylight but the same can’t be said for the night.
Now, as I have said, just ignore the 2MP+2MP sensors.
That 13MP selfie shooter takes good images and they’re useable and you also post them on the internet.
If you’re that person who takes selfies all the time and wants the best selfie camera then I think you will be disappointed with the Redmi Note 11 front camera.
That’s said, the front-facing camera is not that bad but it’s not the best too.
Overall, Redmi needs to work a lot in the camera department. So yes, Redmi Note 11 has a decent camera and it can get better with OTA updates but I can’t promise that because most of the time, mobile brands don’t deliver what they promise.
Audio Quality
The Redmi Note 11 has a stereo speaker which works fine, no issues there. Its dual speakers, so can’t complain much.
It also has a secondary noise cancellation microphone. The Redmi Note 11 does have carrier aggregation support.
As this is a budget smartphone, Redmi has added a 3.5mm audio jack.
Overall, the sound quality is good and there are no issues with call quality too.
Battery life
The Redmi Note 11 comes with a 5,000 mAh battery with 33Wfast charging support. The 33W charger will take about 60 minutes to charge from 0 to 100%.
Overall, the battery should last for the day because of the processor but in the end, it depends on you, how you use your smartphone every day.
You can also use the 33W charger, so even if the battery doesn’t last for a day then the will be charged in 60 minutes.
