RealMe 8s 5G is priced at Rs 17,999 for 8GB of Ram and 128GB storage while 8GB and 128GB storage variant is priced at Rs 19,999 in India. The phone is available in Universe Purple and Universe Blue colour options. It will go for sale on 13th September 2021 via Flipkart.

Is It Worth Buying RealMe 8s 5G?
No, it’s not worth buying because Realme is charging extra money for 5G and this is an 18k smartphone, the RealMe 8s 5G doesn’t have the best cameras. More or less, if you can live with decent cameras then go for it, otherwise, RealMe 8s 5G doesn’t justify the Rs 17,999 Price tag.
As I have said in the RealMe 8s 5G review, 5G is not real in India and no one knows when 5G will available for everyone in India. So it’s better to buy the best 4G smartphone rather than a decent 5G smartphone.
It’s not like, the phone has bad cameras but at an 18k price, it doesn’t feel like the best option.
If you’re thinking about buying a budget 5G smartphone then make sure you read this because that will save your money and time.
Talking about RealMe 8s 5G,
RealMe 8s 5G comes with a 6.50-inches FHD+ 90Hz LCD and has 600 nits of pick brightness. The phone also has wide vine L1 support that means, you will be able to watch FHD+ content on OTT apps.
The device has 64MP primary sensor, 2MP macro, and 2MP depth sensor while there is a 16MP selfie shooter.
Both the rear and front cameras can shoot videos up to 1080p@30fps. Of course, 4k or even 1080p@60fps would have been a good option but looks like, RealMe forget to add that option.
The RealMe 8s 5G is powered by all-new MediaTek Dimensity 810 5G (6 nm) and running on RealMe UI 2.0-based on Android 11.
It comes with a 5,000 mAh battery with 33W fast charging. The MediaTek Dimensity 810 is battery efficient processor, so, the battery will last longer.
Most of the smartphones around the 18k price tag have Stereo Speakers but the same can’t be said for RealMe 8s 5G.
Conclusion
RealMe 8s 5G is not built for everyone, RealMe is targeting those users who want to buy a 5G ready smartphone. So if you’re one of those users then RealMe 8s 5G could be a good option.
