Mobile Phones Under Rs 15000

Smartphones are getting expensive, I mean, just take a look at the newly launched Redmi Note 12 Series, this series used to launch for under Rs 20,000 but now it has gone up to 30k.

Still, we do have some good smartphones available under Rs 15000, so let’s take a look at them.

Best Mobile Phones Under Rs 15,000

Under Rs 15000 market is hot right but still, we have some good smartphones like Motorola G52, Redmi Note 11, RealMe Narzo 50, iQOO Z6 lite 5G, and even Redmi 10 Prime.

So choose the one that you like the most as all 5 phones are good at what they offer. But to make it easier, let’s explore each smartphone.

Motorola G52

Specifications
6.60-inches FHD+ pOLED Display
90Hz Refresh Rate
Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC
Android 12
50MP + 8MP + 2MP Rear Camera
16MP Front Camera
5,000mAh battery (33W)

If you’re that person who doesn’t play heavy games like COD Mobile or even BGMI then you should consider the Motorola G52, It doesn’t have a powerful processor but it will handle all the other tasks without any problems.

The key factor here is the Android experience, the phone does have any sort of ads and the UI feels and looks smooth compared to MIUI, ColorOS, Fun Touch OS, or any other Android Skin.

So for the use of Social Media, a little bit of gaming, and movies, this is the best smartphone you can consider under Rs 15000.

Keep in mind, that this is a 4G phone.

By the way, Motorola has also launched the Motorola G54 5G but it’s priced at Rs 15999. So if you want a pure stock Android experience along with 5G support then do consider it.

Redmi Note 11

Specifications
6.43-inches FHD+ AMOLED Display
90Hz Refresh Rate
Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC
Android 12 – MIUI 13
50MP + 8MP + 2MP + 2MP Rear Camera
13MP Front Camera
5,000mAh battery (33W)

Of course, Xiaomi has made some compromises, the processor is not that powerful, so if you want to buy a smartphone for gaming then you should skip the Redmi Note 11 and take a look at the RealMe Narzo 50.

Redmi has also used the Snapdragon 680 Processor, the one used by Motorola G52. The Redmi Note 11 is available at Rs 13,499 while the Moto G52 is priced at Rs 14,499.

The difference is, that MIUI has ads and that’s where Redmi will earn money while Motorola offers clean UI, so they can’t earn a single rupee after you buy their smartphone.

Overall, if you want more customization then Redmi Note 11 is a good option and if you want a smooth experience then Moto G52 is a better option.

RealMe Narzo 50

Specifications6.60-inches FHD+ AMOLED Display
120Hz Refresh Rate
Mediatek Helio G96 SoC
Android 12 – RealMe UI 2.0
50MP + 2MP + 2MP Rear Camera
16MP Front Camera
5,000mAh battery (33W)
Specifications
6.60-inches FHD+ pOLED Display
90Hz Refresh Rate
Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC
Android 12
50MP + 8MP + 2MP Rear Camera
16MP Front Camera
5,000mAh battery (33W)

If you want a good gaming smartphone then as of now, there is no better option than RealMe Narzo 50 because it’s powered by MediaTek Helio G96.

Now, keep in mind, RealMe Narzo 50 doesn’t have 5G support, for 5G, you will have to go above Rs 15000.

The cameras are not great, but they’re useable under good lighting conditions. Also, it has a 6.60-inches 120Hz LED display, so for AMOLED, you have to consider either Moto G52 or Redmi Note 11.

Considering the price, if you wanted a gaming smartphone and you don’t care much about the cameras and you’re okay with LCD display then yes, the RealMe Narzo 50 is a better option.

iQOO Z6 Lite 5G

Specifications
6.58-inches FHD+ LCD Display
120Hz Refresh Rate
Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 SoC
Fun Touch OS
50MP + 2MP Rear Camera
8MP Front Camera
5,000mAh battery (18W)

Think of it as an affordable 5G smartphone, other than that, it’s an average smartphone. Fun Fact, it only has n77 and n78 5G bands which is sufficient enough to use 5G connectivity in metro cities.

The Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 has a 15% faster CPU and 10% better GPU compared to the Snapdragon 480+. It’s also made on 6nm architecture which means, this is a power-efficient processor.

For day-to-day usage, you won’t face any kind of problem but don’t buy for gaming only.

The cameras are the worst part, don’t expect much from them. Still, if you’re curious then do read my in-depth review of iQOO Z6 Lite.

Concluding everything from price to specs, the iQOO Z6 Lite 5G is a good option for those who are looking for a budget 5G smartphone and don’t care much about cameras and build quality.

As I have said when you buy an affordable 5G phone, you will lose out on lots of features and that’s the case with the IQOO Z6 Lite 5G.

Redmi 10 Prime

Specifications
6.50-inches FHD+ LCD Display
90Hz Refresh Rate
Mediatek Helio G96 SoC
Android 12 – MIUI 13
50MP + 8MP + 2MP + 2MP Rear Camera
8MP Front Camera
6,000mAh battery (18W)

The Redmi 10 Prime comes with a 6.50-inch 90Hz LCD panel, powered by MediaTek helio G88 SoC, and has a massive 6,000 mAh battery that supports 18W charging.

The device has Stereo Speakers, a secondary noise-cancellation microphone, an IR blaster, and a 3.5mm Audio jack. Also, it has carrier aggregation support.

Redmi has compromised in the performance other than that, everything on Redmi 10 Prime is kind of okay.

In short, this is one of the best options to consider under Rs 12000 for normal users, don’t buy for gaming.

Verdict

Now, looking at everything from specs to price, the RealMe Narzo 50 is a good option for gaming only but if you’re a casual user then I feel, it’s better to go with Motorola G52 for a better Android experience.

For 5G only, do consider the iQOO Z6 Lite 5G. You also have Motorola G54 5G but it’s priced at Rs 15999 I feel, if you want stock Android, decent performance, a massive 6000mAh battery, and 5G support then it’s all worth it.

As someone said “You won’t get everything in a single product, so first, decide what you want”

For me, UI matters the most. I don’t like the Ads even after paying Rs 15000.
