By the way, you’re paying 30k for Snapdragon 730, Quad Camera setup, Plastic build quality, Infinity-O display, and for Samsung brand. Is it Worth buying Samsung Galaxy A71?
Currently, we have phones like Realme X2 Pro, POCO X2, Reame X2, and many others who are offering the same specification but they are not Samsung branded. So if you’re brand conscious and only want Samsung branded phone then you can buy Galaxy A71 but if you don’t care about the brand then Galaxy A71 is not worth buying at all.
Now let’s talk in-depth and find out why Samsung Galaxy 71 is not built for everyone.
Samsung Galaxy A71: Performance
As I said, the Galaxy A71 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 Soc which is built on 8nm technology and we have seen this particular chipset below 20k phones. So I don’t know why they just give budget chipset at a premium price, if they have given Snapdragon 765 then it would be great because it’s the latest processor and it’s batter then 730 Soc.
Now, Snapdragon 730 is not bad chipset because we have seen many phones with this chipset and they all worked very well in every department but those phones were priced at 15k and this Galaxy A71 is priced at 30k.
If you decide to buy Galaxy A71 then don’t worry you won’t get any problem in performance not even in Gaming but Galaxy A71 is not worth the 30k price tag but still, it’s your money, if you want to buy this then go for it.
Samsung Galaxy A71: Cameras
Coming to the camera department, the smartphone has a Quad camera setup featuring 64MP primary sensor, 12MP ultra-wide lens, 5MP macro lens, and 5MP depth sensor. Now, as per Samsung, the cameras are going to be highlighted, so once we get this device, we will let to know. On the front side, the phone has a 32MP selfie shooter which is placed on an Infinity-O display.
There is no doubt, the Galaxy A71 has great cameras and that you can see on the paper as well as in real life. So yes, it has a good camera but that doesn’t mean it’s worth 30k. If this phone launched at 22k then it would be a killer phone.
Samsung Galaxy A71: Build Quality & Battery
The Galaxy A71 comes with a plastic build with a gradient back finish, so you’re paying 30k for plastic built. I’m not saying, the phone has bad build quality but it’s not good as glass build.
It also has 4,500 mAh non-removable battery which sports 25W fast charging support and good thing is, Samsung included the 25W charger in the box which is a very nice touch.
As I have said, the battery life depends on your phone use, if you every day play games for 6 hours then you need to charge a phone every 6 hours but if you’re like me and don’t use the phone very often then it will last for a day.
Conclusion
In the end, As I have said, the Galaxy A71 is not built for everyone. If you want Samsung branded phone with good cameras and good performance then yes Galaxy A71 is for you and if you don’t care about Samsung brand then do take a look at RealMe X2 Pro, OnePlus 7T, POCO X2, RealMe X2 or you can wait for OnePlus 8 Lite.
Update: Samsung has launched Galaxy M51 which has the same specifications as the Galaxy A71 but M51 comes with massive 7,000 mAh battery and it’s priced at Rs 22,999. So if you want a Samsung branded phone then don’t look for anything else, Galaxy M51 is the best one you have.
