Infinix Note 11s Review

Yes, Infinix Note 11s is worth buying but it’s only made for gamers. The device has a weak camera which doesn’t justify the 14k price tag but, Infinix has covered the weak part with performance and fast charging. So Overall, Infinix Note 11S is a gaming smartphone and it’s worth buying for gamers only.

Infinix Note 11s Pros and Cons

PROSCONS
120Hz Screen refresh rateAverage Cameras
Powerful MediaTek Helio G96 SoCWeak Video Recording
33W fast chargingNo secondary noise cancellation
Good Quality displayNo carrier aggregation
Fast ram & storageUI is a bit complicated to use
Stereo Speakers No ultra-wide lens

Those were the Pros and Cons of Infinix Note 11S, now let’s go deep down and find out, who should spend Rs 13,999 and who shouldn’t.

Display Quality

Infinix Note 11s comes with a large 6.95-inches 120Hz LCD.

Now, the phone does have an LCD panel but Infinix has used a good quality panel, so there won’t be any kind of problem while using the device.

It also has wide-vine L1 support which means you will be able to stream FHD+ content on OTT apps.

Of course, if you’re looking for a smartphone with an AMOLED display then you can take look at Motorola G31 (review) which is also priced at Rs 13,999.

By the way, as the phone has a 6.95-inches display, you will enjoy playing games and even watching movies.

Overall, Infinix has done a good job with the display. There is nothing to complain about.

Performance

We have seen MediaTek Helio G96 on a few smartphones and almost all the phones are working fine.

Also, MediaTek helio G96 is a gaming processor, so yes, if you’re looking for a gaming smartphone at a budget price then this could be a good option.

Things get a little bit messy when it comes to UI.

The Infinix Note 11s is running on XOS 10 based on Android 11 and the device will get Android 12 very soon.

I’m not a big fan of custom UI, I prefer stock UI or any other UI.

Now, if you’re okay with custom UI then you will be happier with XOS because the UI has all the features that most of the other custom UI have.

Also, like any other custom UI, there will be some ads here and there, just like MIUI and RealMe UI.

other than that, you won’t face any kind of problem while using the smartphone.

Now Infinix has also used UFS 2.2 storage and LPDD4X RAM which will give better performance in day-to-day uses.

Overall, there won’t be any kind of problem while playing games or using smartphones in day-to-day life.

Cameras

This is where everything changes.

The Infinix Note 11s comes with a 50MP primary sensor + 2MP depth + 2MP macro sensor while there is a 16MP selfie shooter. The rear cameras can shoot videos up to 1440p@30fps while the front can shoot at 1080p@30fps.

Let me just put it this way,

The Infinix Note 11s have average cameras. The dynamic range is kind of messed up and the white balance is not done very well.

While taking images, sometimes, the images will come out whities while sometimes, it’s just pop-out colors.

The same can be said for videos too.

The videos will come out, unstable which was expected as this is priced at 14k and not 20k.

The 16MP front camera takes white images which could be good for some users but if you wanted close to natural colors then you will be disappointed.

Also, that 2MP + 2MP camera is just for showcase, don’t expect anything from them.

Overall, Infinix should have worked on cameras because this camera doesn’t justify the 14k price tag.

As I have said, Infinix Note 11s is a gaming smartphone, so if you want a powerful smartphone and you don’t use the camera very much then this can be justifiable otherwise, you will be disappointed with the smartphone.

Audio Quality

Just like any other Infinix smartphone, this too doesn’t have a secondary noise cancellation microphone which is not good for calling.

Also, there is no carrier aggregation too.

Now, Infinix has added two-speaker on smartphones and they are quite loud.

Overall, I would be happy with a single speaker but they should have added secondary noise cancellation mic and carrier aggregation support.

Battery Life

The device has a 5,000 mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.

The device will last for a day and a half but it also depends on how you use the smartphone.

If you will play games for five to six hours then you will have to charge the device two times but if you’re a casual user then the device can also last for more than a day.
