Infinix Note 11 Review with Pros and Cons – Kind of Okay

Infinix Note 11 Review

Infinix Note 11 Review

Infinix has just added another smartphone under the Note 11 series. The newly launched Infinix Note 11 is priced at Rs 12,999 for 6GB of Ram and 64GB storage.

As a launch offer, Infinix has given a Rs 1,000 discount which means, you can get the same variant at Rs 11,999 which is a good price.

Now, Infinix Note 11 does have its Pros and Cons which could be a huge problem for some users. So let’s jump into the review and find out, whether you should buy Infinix Note 11 or not?

Infinix Note 11 Review

Yes, Infinix Note 11 is worth buying but again, it misses out on some of the features like, it doesn’t have secondary noise cancellation and no support for Widevine L1 other than that, the device has everything that a budget smartphone should have.

Also, keep in mind, that the device doesn’t have good cameras too. It looks the same as the recently launched Infinix Note 11s.

Overall, I would say, you can skip the Infinix Note 11 and take look at Motorola G31 which is also priced at Rs 12,999.

Infinix Note 11 Pros and Cons

PROSCONS
AMOLED DisplayAverage Cameras
Stereo SpeakersNo Widevine L1 Support
33W fast chargingNo secondary noise cancellation
Powerful MediaTek Helio G88 SoCNo carrier aggregation
UI is a bit complicated to use
Weak Video Recording

Those were the Pros and Cons of Infinix Note 11, now let’s go deep down and find out, who should spend Rs 12,999 and who shouldn’t.

Display Quality

The Infinix Note 11 comes with a 6.70-inches FHD+ AMOLED display. It also has a 180Hz touch sampling rate and picks a brightness of 650.

The frame and rear side are made out of plastic while there is corning gorilla glass 3 on the front.

The device does have an FHD+ display but it doesn’t have Widevine L1 support which means, you won’t able to watch FHD+ content on OTT apps. In short, the phone only supports 480p on all the OTT apps like Netflix, Prime Video, Hotstar, etc.

The good thing is., that the Infinix Note 11 has an AMOLED display and here, Infinix has used a good quality panel, so there won’t be any kind of problem while playing games or even watching YouTube videos.

The biggest downside is, of course, not having Widevine L1 support.

So if you’re that person who watches movies and TV shows on Netflix and Prime videos then you will be disappointed as you have to watch everything at low resolution.

By the way, viewing angles are good, there won’t be any issues while using the smartphone outdoors.

Performance

The Infinix Note 11 is not a gaming smartphone yet you will be able to play games like BGMI and even COD Mobile at low graphics.

The MediaTek Helio G88 will be able to handle day-to-day tasks without any problems.

It runs on XOS 10 which is based on Android 11. This is custom UI which means, you will get all the additional features.

Now, I’m not a big fan of custom UI, I prefer stock UI.

So if you want a pure stock UI UI experience then do take look at Motorola G31 (review) which is also priced at Rs 12,999 and has the same specs as Infinix Note 11.

Overall, there won’t be any problem while using smartphones in daily life but if you’re a gamer then this is not the best option. Do take look at Infinix Note 11s or POCO X3 Pro.

Cameras

The Infinix Note 11 has 50MP primary sensor, 2MP depth, and 2MP AI sensor while there is a 16MP front-facing camera. The rear cameras can shoot videos up to 1440p@30fps while the front can shoot at 1080p@30fps.

Don’t expect much from the camera department, this is a 13k smartphone, so the camera quality will be average.

The 50MP rear camera tries to whiten the images and there are no details even during daylight.

The same can be said for the front camera too.

Also, just forget about those 2MP + 2MP sensors there are added for the showcase.

The videos also come out shaky and there is a huge problem with dynamic range. Sometimes it tries to overexpose the footage and sometimes, it just went down low to brightness.

So yes, Infinix needs to work on cameras. Now, you might say, this is a 13k smartphone but hey, the same problem is available on Infinix Note 11s (review) which is priced at 14k.

Overall, Infinix Note 11 has average cameras and it can be improved but it depends on the company and I don’t they will improve.

So if you’re okay with below-average cameras and if you want a decent smartphone then you can consider the Infinix Note 11 otherwise, as I have said, do take look at Moto G31.

Audio Quality

Just like any other Infinix smartphone, this too doesn’t have a secondary noise cancellation microphone which is not good for calling.

Also, there is no carrier aggregation too.

Now, Infinix has added two-speaker on smartphones and they are quite loud.

Overall, I would be happy with a single speaker but they should have added secondary noise cancellation mic and carrier aggregation support.

Battery Life

The device has a 5,000 mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.

The device will last for a day and a half but it also depends on how you use the smartphone.

If you will play games for five to six hours then you will have to charge the device two times but if you’re a casual user then the device can also last for more than a day.

Verdict

As of writing this review, Infinix Note 11 is priced at Rs 11,999 which good price, so if you want to buy this smartphone then this is the right time otherwise, at Rs 12,999, it’s not a value for money smartphone because we also have Moto G31 at the same price.

I have told you the Pros and Cons of Infinix Note 11, now, the discussion is all yours. If you’re okay with Cons then go for it otherwise, this is not the only smartphone available under Rs 15,000.
