Huawei’s sub-brand Honor launched their new Honor 8A Pro in Russia today with the price of 13,990 Russian Ruble (approx Rs 15,000). Honor is also planning to launch upcoming Honor 20i and Honor 20 lite in China on 17th April along with all new Notebook 2019, so let’s take a closer look at newly launched Honor 8A Pro

Honor 8A Pro: Specifications

The handset comes with a huge 6.09-inches only HD+ display with the resolutions of 720 pixels by 1560and yes the device also has dew drop notch and the good thing is notch is not that big but of course, you totally see the bottom chin and that is quite bigger then what I expected

Under the hood, the Honor 8A Pro is powered by octa-core MediaTek Helio P35 processor which is built on 12 nm technology with IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU inside, the device runs on latest EMUI 9.1 based on 9.0 (Pie). Overall don’t expect too much from this smartphone because of it’s not a premium mid-range smartphone, but yes it will give you good performance

Talking about the Cameras, the smartphone comes with a single rear camera setup featuring a 13-megapixel senosr with F/1.8 aperture, on the front, there is an 8-megapixel selfie shooter. The good thing is both the camera can shoot video up to 1080@30 FPS, there is also rear-mounted fingerprint present for authentication

The device is available in 3 GB of Ram and 64 GB of internal storage, which can be expandable up to 512 GB via micro-SD card slot. The Honor 8A Pro is packed with 3020 mAh non-removable battery with Quick charge 2.0 support, there is also 3.5 mm audio jack that can be used to listen to music or watch movies
