Is it Worth Buying Samsung Galaxy A73 5G?

No, the Galaxy A73 5G is not worth buying because it’s an overpriced smartphone, the Snapdragon 778G SoC doesn’t worth the 42k price tag, you can get the same processor at a 20k price tag while the camera needs improvement and it doesn’t even come out the charger, overall, Samsung is charging a premium for brand value.

Now, the phone does have good cameras and it takes good images too but still, the cameras don’t justify the Rs 41,999 price tag, this would have been a great smartphone but because of the pricing, it ended up a good smartphone.

Samsung has brand value but still, in the end, it’s an Android smartphone and as of now, we have tons of better Android smartphones than the Galaxy A73 5G but again, this could be a good option for those who only wanted to buy the best Samsung smartphone around 45k in India.

Now, if you ask me, I won’t ever pay extra money for brand value, I would rather look for value for money smartphone and in this case, the Galaxy A73 5G is a good smartphone but not the best considering the price and competition.

The Samsung Galaxy A73 5G comes with 108MP primary sensor which has OIS support, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, a 5MP macro sensor, and a 5MP depth sensor while there is a 32MP selfie shooter on the front. The rear cameras can shoot videos at 4k@30fps, 1080p@30/60fps while the front can shoot at only 1080p@30fps.

Most of the smartphones at 35k come with either 120W or 65W fast charging support but Samsung decided to go with 25W wired charging support. Fun fact, Samsung didn’t give a charger in the box, so you have to use whatever you have at home or buy a 25W charger from Samsung which will cost you Rs 1,999.

That 5,000 mAh battery will last for a day but in the end, it will depend on how you use the smartphone in day-to-day life.

Verdict

If you wanted to buy only a Samsung smartphone and if your budget is Rs 50,000 then skip the Galaxy A73 5G because now, you can get the Galaxy S21 FE 5G at Rs 49,999 but if you don’t want to spend 50k then you can also get the Galaxy S20 FE 5G at 40k too.
