Yes, DIZO Watch D Talk is worth buying because it offers real value at a real price from the metal build, longer battery life, smooth watch UI, organized application, brighter display, 5ATM water resistance, all the necessary sensors, and it’s available at Rs 3999 price which is justifiable for what Dizo is offering.

One more thing, RealMe Watch 3 has a plastic frame and is available at Rs 3499 while Dizo Watch D Talk has a Metal frame and is available at Rs 3999, this is the only difference other than that, both the watches have the same features and both of them are from the same brand too.

Dizo Watch D Talk: Display

The DIZO Watch D Talk comes with a 1.80-inches TFT display with a resolution of 240 x 286 pixels and a pick brightness of 550 nits. The screen is curved from the edge which looks good from the outside.

The 550 nits brightness helps a lot when using the smartwatch outdoors, it won’t be hard to read text or navigate through the smartwatch UI. You can also use the display as a flashlight and it does come in handy in dark environments.

Dizo has also added whooping 150+ watch faces which are accessible from the Dizo App while you can also set any custom image from the app itself.

Overall, the display quality is excellent, it’s visible under sunlight and it can also go low under low light. The front bottom bezel is a bit bigger but again, this is a budget smartwatch, so you will have to deal with it.

I know, the AMOLED panel would have been a good option and for that, you have to consider the Dizo Watch R Talk which is available at Rs 4999.

End of the day, it’s business and Dizo is doing the same, it’s like, if you don’t want to spend more money then you have to buy a TFT panel otherwise, you can always get an AMOLED panel.

Dizo Watch D Talk: Design, Comfort, and Build

This is where thing changes…

The metal frame on Dizo Watch D Talk looks amazing at the same time, it gives you a premium feel at a budget price. On the back, it has plastic where all the sensors along with charging pins are placed.

The default 22mm strap is made from Silicone which feels good in your hands, it won’t hurt your hands even while wearing it all day, all night. You can also order a 22m strap from amazon if you don’t like the default strap.

Now, as the watch has a metal frame, it has 58 grams of weight. Most smartwatch that has a plastic build comes with about 28 grams of weight.

The metal is a bit glossy, so it will pick up the fingerprint easily.

Overall, the Dizo Watch D Talk is a solid smartwatch, and it’s comfortable to wear even at night.

Dizo Watch D Talk: Application

First of all, you have to download the Dizo App on your smartwatch to use all the features. The app has all the features that a smartwatch app should have. You will be able to see, the battery percentage, steps, calories, sleep tracking, and heart rate graph.

Also, the Dizo Watch D Talk doesn’t have built-in GPS, Dizo has added a GPS page inside the application from where you will be able to use smartphone GPS on a smartwatch.

By the way, you won’t face any kind of problems while connecting your smartwatch to the application, Dizo is using an instant connection which means, that whether you want to make calls or use any other feature, the watch will be connected to your smartwatch 24/7.

By the way, Dizo has also added some games within the smartwatch which is a nice touch but the problem is, it doesn’t work great at all, it’s too laggy to play.

So take the games as a just feature

Dizo has also added 150+ watch faces inside the Dizo App but if you don’t like any of the pre-added watch faces then you can always use your image or any other image for the watch face.

The app is well-organized and you won’t face any kind of problem while using it. By the way, the Dizo app will only work on iOS 11+ & Android 5.0+ devices.

Dizo Watch D Talk: Health and Fitness Tracking

Not having built-in GPS does hurt when doing exercise outdoors at the same time, it doesn’t provide close to accurate fitness data.

Now, when you do outdoor exercise, the smartwatch uses all the sensors from heart rate, SpO2, and GPS to measure your live location, and in the end, it provides the burned calories and the distance you run.

In short, if you wanted to buy a smartwatch for exercise then don’t buy the Dizo Watch D Talk and Consider the Amazfit Bip 3 Pro.

The sleep data is close to accurate, it provides REM sleep, Light Sleep, and Deep sleep data. To see all the data with the graphs you will have to use the Dizo App.

As its re-brand of RealMe Watch 3, the sleep data was accurate, it wasn’t calculating the sleep data when I was watching movies or TV shows like Dizo Watch R Talk.

The SpO2 and Heart-Rate sensor also provides close to accurate data, it’s not as accurate as an oximeter but you will get an idea about your health.

Keep the error margin around 5%. So let’s say, the oximeter shows 99% SpO2 data then the RealMe Watch 3 Pro will show you around 97 to 99.

Now, this is not bad at all, the oximeter is well-placed on the fingers while a smartwatch can lose some time which I have already explained on WearablesDrop.

I have said many times when reviewing a smartwatch, don’t rely 100% on smartwatches, these gadgets will give close to accurate data, so if you have a serious medical condition then always visit the hospital.

Nonetheless, Dizo has used good quality sensors which can be seen in the smartwatch itself.

The watch also has a stress monitoring feature but the watch doesn’t have a dedicated sensor to calculate the stress data.

So how does Dizo calculate the stress data,

Dizo will ask you some questions like “what do you think about other people, “How was your day, etc” In Inclusion, the stress data will be presented, so don’t trust the stress data at all.

Brands like Fitbit use a dedicated sensor to calculate Stress level while Dizo is just using the software.

The raise-to-wake feature also works fine and you will be able to disable and enable the feature directly from the smartwatch, you don’t need to open the app for it.

Dizo has also added all the necessary features like 150 watch faces, 110 built-in sports Modes, a Female cycle, a Drinking Reminder, an Activity Tracker, Heart Rate Monitor, SpO2, and Stress Monitoring too.

Concluding everything from price to feature, I would have loved to see a built-in GPS but other than that, you will be more than happy with Dizo Watch D Talk.

Dizo Watch D Talk: Bluetooth Calling

Almost all budget smartwatch that has Bluetooth calling come with an excellent speaker but a not-so-good microphone and the same can be said for the Dizo Watch D Talk.

It has a good speaker which means, you will able to hear someone’s voice but the other person on call won’t able to hear your voice properly if you’re in the heavily crowded place

In short, the Dizo Watch D Talk has a great speaker but it doesn’t have a good microphone.

By the way, the watch only supports Bluetooth calling which means, you will need to connect your smartwatch to your smartphone via Dizo App.

Dizo Watch D Talk: Battery

Because of the Bluetooth Calling, the battery life is not excellent,

Now, if you use Bluetooth calling all day then the battery life will be dead during the day but if you use all the features a few times a day then expect the battery life to be around 3 to 4 days.

Now, if you don’t use all the features then you will get battery life to be around 6 to 7 days. (No Bluetooth calling, no heart rate monitoring, no SpO2, and No Sleep Tracking)

Of course, battery life will depend on every user and how they use the smartwatch. So take these numbers to get an idea about the battery.

Review

Dizo has given everything in Dizo Watch D Talk except the built-in GPS and AMOLED panel other than that, it’s a good Bluetooth calling smartwatch at a good price. It could have been an excellent smartwatch but they kept some of the features because they also offer Dizo Watch D at Rs 4999.

3.8

In conclusion, don’t buy Dizo Watch D Talk for running and gym.

So yes, if you’re looking budget smartwatch and if your budget is Rs 5000 then you can consider the RealMe Watch 3 Pro.
