RealMe Watch 3 Pro Review
Yes, the RealMe Watch 3 Pro is worth buying because it has everything that users always wanted in a budget smartwatch from 60Hz AMOLED display, Bluetooth Calling, Built-in GPS, lightweight design, 110 Sports Mode, and its available at Rs 4999 which is a good price for what RealMe is offering.
The only two downsides are, that the RealMe Watch 3 Pro doesn’t have 5 ATM Water-Resistant and the entire body is made out of plastic.

The frame has a glossy finish which is not the best because it will become messy and you will have to clean it here and there.
Considering the price to features, the RealMe Watch 3 Pro is a solid option for those who wanted a smartwatch under Rs 5000 in India, it has all the features that you always wanted in a budget smartwatch.

RealMe Watch 3 Pro: Display
- 1.78-Inches AMOLED Display,
- 50fps to 60fps Screen Refresh Rate
- 68.7%% Screen to Body Ratio
- 500 nits brightness
- 368 x 448 pixels
- 325 PPI Density
The RealMe Watch 3 Pro comes with a 1.78-inches AMOLED display with a resolution of 368 x 448 pixels and pick a brightness of 500 nits while it has 325 PPI Density.
The display has a 50fps to 60fps Screen Refresh Rate which is rare under Rs 5000. The screen is smooth and vibrant, the colors look amazing when using the smartwatch outdoors because of the AMOLED Panel.
The screen is responsive too, I didn’t see frame drops while using the smartwatch UI. RealMe has refined the UI over the years which can be seen in the smartwatch while the application has improved a lot compared to last year.
The bezels are not that big when we compared them with boAt, Noise, or Firebolt smartwatches. Still, there are bezels around the four sides but they’re not that big.
Overall, the display quality is excellent, you will be more than happy with its quality, it’s by far one of the best smartwatch display available under Rs 5,000 in India.
RealMe Watch 3 Pro: Design, Comfort, and Build
- Plastic Back
- Plastic Frame
- Silicone Strap
- 22mm Removable (Silicone)
- Weight: 40.7 grams (without strap)
The smartwatch has the same design which we’re seeing in budget smartwatches, a single physical button on the right side along with a microphone and speaker.
The RealMe Watch 3 Pro supports a 22mm Strap which means, that if you don’t like the default Strap then you can order any 22mm Strap from Amazon and start using it.
Now, I don’t think you will order a new Strap because the default Strap is comfortable to wear, and your skin won’t hurt even while wearing it all day and all night.
The smartwatch is made out of 100% plastic, the back has a matt finish while the frame has a glossy finish.
The watch looks amazing on the wrist, also I would have loved to aluminum frame nevertheless, used plastic is also not that bad.
All in all, the RealMe Watch 3 Pro is comfortable to wear, and it’s also lightweight too.
RealMe Watch 3 Pro: Application
I will be adding some of the paragraphs from RealMe Watch 3 Review,
After the Zepp application, the RealMe Link app is my second favorite fitness app. I’m not comparing this app with WearOS because we don’t have WearOS watches under 5k (as of now).
By the way, you will have to download the RealMe Link from the app store or play store to use the smartwatch. One thing to note, the microphone and the speaker doesn’t work the best with iPhones, I don’t know the reason behind it.
Talking about the app, it has all the features that a smartwatch app should have. You will be able to see, the battery percentage, steps, calories, sleep tracking, and heart rate graph.
Also, if you run a lot then you can also use built-in GPS. When connecting the smartwatch with the RealMe Link app, all the GPS data will be synced easily.
The RealMe Link app is well-organized and you won’t face any kind of problem while using it. By the way, the RealMe Link app will only work on iOS 11+ & Android 5.1+ devices.
RealMe Watch 3 Pro: Health and Fitness Tracking
- IP68 Dust and Water-Resistant
- 100+ watch faces
- 110+ built-in sports Mode
- Calories Burned
- Menstrual Cycle Tracking
- Step Tracker
- Breathe
- Drinking Reminder
- Activity Tracker
- Heart Rate Monitor
- SpO2
- Stress Monitoring
I have said many times when reviewing a smartwatch, don’t rely 100% on smartwatches, these gadgets will give close to accurate data, so if you have a serious medical condition then always visit the hospital.
Back to the RealMe Watch 3 Pro,
It has an optical heart rate sensor that provides close to accurate data, so keep the error margin around 5%. So let’s say, the oximeter shows 99% SpO2 data then the RealMe Watch 3 Pro will show you around 97 to 99.
Now, this is not bad at all, the oximeter is well-placed on fingers while a smartwatch can be lose some time which I have already explained on WearablesDrop.
The same goes for Heart Rate while the stress monitoring is just an add-on feature, so don’t trust the stress data at all.
Brands like Fitbit use a dedicated sensor to calculate the Stress level while RealMe is just using the software.
Related: How Does Sleep Tracking Work: Is It Reliable?
The sleep data is kind of okay, it’s better than RealMe Watch 3. The Realme Link app shows all the sleep stages from Light Sleep, Deep sleep as well as REM Sleep.
The Built-in GPS also works well and to access GPS data, you will have to connect the smartwatch with the RealMe Link app to sync GPS data.

The raise-to-wake feature also works fine and you will be able to disable and enable the feature directly from the smartwatch, you don’t need to open the app for it.
Now, I did notice a second gap when using the raise-to-wake feature, the screen doesn’t light up when rising the hand for a second. I hope, it can be fixed with updates.
Also, the heart rate sensor doesn’t work on plastic or any other material.
RealMe has also added all the necessary features like 100 watch faces, 110-built-in sports Modes, a Female cycle, a Drinking Reminder, an Activity Tracker, Heart Rate Monitor, SpO2, and Stress Monitoring too.
So yes, if you wanted a smartwatch under Rs 5000 for the gym then you can consider the Realme Watch 3 Pro, its looks amazing and at the same time provide accurate fitness data.
Also, if you don’t care about the looks and just wanted the best fitness smartwatches then close your eyes and go with Amazfit Bip 3 Pro (read review).
RealMe Watch 3 Pro: Bluetooth Calling
- 345 mAh Battery (Magnetic Charger)
- 0% to 100% in 2.5 hours
- 3 to 4 days battery life (Full Use)
- 7 to 8 days battery life (Normal Use)
The RealMe Watch 3 Pro supports Bluetooth calling which means you can make calls directly from the smartwatch itself but to do that, you will have to connect the smartwatch with your smartphone by using RealMe Link App.
Now, I want 100% attention because Bluetooth calling is kind of hot these…
The microphone is excellent, the other person on call will be able to hear your voice without any problem. Even in public places, the microphone works the best.
Now, the critical part is,
The speaker quality is not that great, it works great when taking calls at home or when there is no noise but when it comes to crowded places, it will get hard to hear someone because the speaker doesn’t go very loud.
I don’t think is a software issue, it should be a hardware issue but still, I will let you know after one or two OTA updates.
By the way, the RealMe Watch 3 Pro doesn’t have SIM Card support, it relies on Bluetooth. In short, keep your smartphone with the smartwatch all the time to use the calling feature.
RealMe Watch 3 Pro: Battery
The battery life won’t be as good as any other budget smartwatch because it has a calling feature and it will consume more battery.
RealMe has also promised 10-days of battery life but that won’t happen in Real Life.
If you use all the features from SpO2, heart rate monitoring and sleep tracking then expect the battery life to be around 3 to 4 days battery life.
Now, if you don’t use all the features then you will get battery life to be around 7 to 8 days. (No Bluetooth calling, no heart rate monitoring, no SpO2, and No Sleep Tracking)
Of course, battery life will depend on every user and how they use the smartwatch. So take these numbers to get an idea about the battery.
