Nokia G20 Review

Nokia G20 Review

Nokia could become best selling brand in India if they don’t launch phones like Nokia G20 in India.

The Nokia G20 is the latest offering in G Series, it’s powered by MediaTek Helio G35 SoC, HD+ LCD, 5050mAh battery with 10W charging support and the Nokia G20 is priced at Rs 12,999 for 4GB Ram and 64GB storage.

Now, before you waste your money buying Nokia G20, let’s review the phone.

Is It Worth Buying Nokia G20?

No, Nokia G20 is not worth buying because it’s an overpriced smartphone and it has MediaTek helio G35 SoC which is an affordable processor. The Display is HD+ while there is only 10W charging support and the cameras are also average. Overall, it’s better to skip Nokia G30 and take look at POCO M3 Pro or Redmi Note 10.

Nokia G20 Pros and Cons

Nokia must-see, what other companies are offering at Rs 12,999 and then they should launch the phone. At least, they should provide MediaTek helio G85 or G80 SoC at a 13k price tag.

So if you’re looking for a budget smartphone with Stock UI or you don’t want to buy a Chinese smartphone yes, do take look at Nokia G20 but keep in mind, Nokia G20 is not worth the 13k price tag, this should have been launched at 7k or 8k in India.

The phone has a 6.52-inches HD+ LCD display which is not acceptable at the 13k price tag, there are tons of phones available with an FHD+ display at a 10k price tag.

Coming to the processor, it’s powered by MediaTek Helio G35 SoC which we have seen in 7k smartphones and Nokia is offering the same SoC at a 13k price tag.

The chipset is not bad but at a 13k price tag, it’s not the best.

Talking about the camera, the Nokia G20 has a 48MP primary sensor, 5MP ultra-wide, 2MP macro, and 2MP depth rear camera while there is an 8MP selfie shooter. Both the rear & front camera can shoot videos at 1080p@30fps.

Again, considering the price tag, Nokia G20 doesn’t have the best cameras. Don’t go by the camera sensors, when it comes to image quality, it doesn’t justify the 13k price tag.

For power, it has a 5,050 mAh battery with 10W charging support. As this is an HD+ smartphone, the battery will last for two days or more, depending on how users use the phone daily.

Conclusion: Buy or Not?

Again, as I have said, Nokia G20 is not worth buying and it doesn’t justify the Rs 13,999 price tag, if it was launched at an 8k price tag then this would be a killer smartphone.

I would say, save 13k and go with better phones. Still, if you want to buy, I will drop the best buy link down below, check it out.
