Samsung Galaxy M51 vs OnePlus Nord: Display Quality
There is no doubt Samsung makes the best displays but this time things changed a little bit. Galaxy M51 comes with 6.70 inches AMOLED Display with 1080 x 2340 pixels resolutions and this is 60Hz screen while OnePlus Nord comes with 6.44 inches AMOLED Display with 1080 x 2400 pixels resolutions and this is a 90Hz screen.
Now, I don’t think I have to say anything because on paper and off the paper OnePlus wins the round. That 90Hz screen refresh rate coupled with Snapdragon 765G make everything smoother on OnePlus Nord while Galaxy M51 feels budget centric smartphone.

Samsung Galaxy M51 has Glass front (Gorilla Glass 3), plastic back, plastic frame while OnePlus Nord comes with Glass front (Gorilla Glass 5), glass back (Gorilla Glass 5), plastic frame. It’s a clear win for OnePlus Nord.
Galaxy M51 is a plastic smartphone which feels less-premium as compared to OnePlus Nord. Yet, it depends on you which one you like the most. If you ask me, I always go with Glass build which makes more sense at 25k.

Samsung Galaxy M51 comes with 64MP primary sensor, 12MP ultra-wide lens, 5MP depth sensor, 5MP macro lens while there is 32MP front camera. OnePlus Nord comes with 48 MP Primary (Sony IMX568), 8MP ultra-wide lens, 2MP macro sensor, and 5MP depth sensor while on the front side, the phone has dual 32MP primary sensor and 8MP ultra-wide sensor.
Both the phone can shoot videos in 4K resolution with rear cameras. Things get little bit tricky because Galaxy M51 has 64MP primary sensor and larger 12MP ultra wide lens while OnePlus Nord has 48MP primary sensor and 8MP ultra-wide lens.
In short, Galaxy M51 takes better images in good lighting while OnePlus Nord has optical image stabilization which helps the in low lighting. Both the phone has it’s cons but I feel Galaxy M51 wins this round with 1 point. It’s all because of the larger sensor size which is there in Galaxy M51 while OnePlus Nord doesn’t have bigger sensors.

Samsung Galaxy M51 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G (8 nm) with Octa-core (2×2.2 GHz Kryo 470 Gold & 6×1.8 GHz Kryo 470 Silver) and Adreno 618. The Snapdragon 730G is a good processor and it can handle almost every single games but still, at 25k this chip is not the best.
OnePlus Nord is running on Oxygen OS which is by far the best Android UI available. UI and better processor on OnePlus Nord win this round and also keep in mind, OnePlus Nord has 90Hz screen refresh rate which makes a huge difference.

Also, Galaxy M51 has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and dedicated micro-SD card slot while OnePlus Nord comes with under-display fingerprint sensor and it’s doesn’t have the micro-SD card slot.

OnePlus Nord price in India starts from Rs 24,999 for 6GB of Ram and 64GB storage. OnePlus also offers, 8GB Ram and 128GB storage which is priced at Rs 27,999 yet if you want more ram then there is another variant that comes with 12GB of Ram and 256GB internal storage and this will cost you Rs 29,999.
Samsung Galaxy M51 India price starts from Rs 24,999 for 6GB of Ram and 128GB storage while 8GB of Ram and 128GB storage variant is priced at Rs 26,999.
Note: For now, OnePlus Nord 6GB + 64GB variant is no gone for sale, this is suppose to come in September 2020 yet there is no update on that. So you have to buy that 8GB + 128GB variant which will cost you Rs 27,999.

If you want powerful processor, smoother display, fast charging support, best build quality, premium looking phone and good cameras then OnePlus Nord is the best option for you while if you want bigger battery and slightly better cameras then Galaxy M51 is the phone you’re looking for.
Which One Do I recommend
OnePlus Nord is what I say you should buy because it makes more sense. The phone has 90Hz screen refresh rate, Snapdragon 765G processor, best Android UI in the world without any bloatware, premium looking feel, everything on OnePlus Nord is just amazing. So it’s better to go with OnePlus Nord.
Yes if you want that Samsung brand and if you’re not okay with Chinese brand then yes Galaxy M51 is also a good option, there won’t be any problem in day to day use.
