OnePlus launched 4 smartphones last year and all the phone is kind of similar in some ways, we have seen OnePlus 7, OnePlus 7 Pro, OnePlus 7T, and last but not the list OnePlus 7T Pro. Now if you want to buy one of these smartphones in 2020, which one would you pick, do let me know in the comment section below.

Update 24th May 2020 at 08:12 AM OnePlus 8 Series is launched in India, so before you buy the OnePlus 7T make sure you check out the OnePlus 8.

Update 28th March 2021 OnePlus 9 Series has been launched in India. So if your budget is about 35k then I would say, just add 5k more and buy the OnePlus 9R. Also, the OnePlus 9R is the same as OnePlus 8T, OnePlus has re-brand the phone and launched with the new name. Still, Go for the OnePlus 9R over the OnePlus 8T.

Now let’s find out which one is the best value for money smartphone. Just to let you know, OnePlus is launching the OnePlus 8 Lite, OnePlus 8, and OnePlus 8 Pro in 2020. So this article will help you to choose the best smartphone for yourself.

OnePlus 7T Price Drop

We all know the OnePlus 7T was launched at Rs 37,999 for 8GB and 128 GB variant and now that same variant is available at Rs 34,999. So yes if you’re looking for a smartphone under 40k then this one is the best deal because you’re getting all the things from the OnePlus 7 Pro at a cheaper price.

Just adding, Amazon Announced Great Indian Festival sale 2020 and will start from 18th Jan to 22nd Jan 2020. The good thing is, if you have an SBI credit card then you will get a 10% discount which means you can get this OnePlus 7T at 30k.

Performance

OnePlus 7T has the all-time best Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ chipset inside which is 30% faster than Snapdragon 855. So there is no doubt about performance and on top of that, it’s running on Oxygen OS 10.3.0 based on Android 10.

The phone also has a 90Hz display which will give you the best gaming experience. So you won’t get any problem with performance.

Cameras

I won’t say much about cameras because the phone has the same camera quality as OnePlus 7 pro, in some way, the OnePlus 7T has batter cameras. I will also add some of the camera samples which I have taken recently with the OnePlus 7T.

*If you want to see original images quality then click right here, I have uploaded all the images on Google Drive.

Battery Life

The OnePlus 7T comes with a 3,800 mAh non-removable battery with a warp charge 30T which means this device can charge 0% to 75% in 30 minutes.

Note: If you use a 90Hz display then the battery life will drain faster, so if you want better battery life then use a standard 60Hz display. Talking about myself, I’m using this device at 90Hz, and let me tell you one thing, it’s best to experience but still, the choice is all yours.

Conclusion: Is it Worth Buying OnePlus 7T in 2020

Yes, the OnePlus 7T is worth buying in 2020 because it has everything which the flagship smartphone have. So, if your budget is 35k then don’t think about any other device, go with the onePlus 7T.

Update 2021: If your budget is about 35k then now in 2021, we have tons of other options to go with. So here I would say, you can skip the OnePlus 7T as this is an old smartphone, you can go with OnePlus 8T or Mi 10T or any other smartphone at the same price.

Now, talking about the OnePlus 7 Pro, this device is available at Rs 39,999 via Amazon. So if you want a Full-View display and QHD+ display and you’re okay with a pop-up selfie camera and you can pay Rs 5,000 extra then the OnePlus 7 pro is for you. Just adding, the OnePlus 7T has everything which the OnePlus 7 Pro has, and in some ways, the OnePlus 7T is better than the OnePlus 7 Pro.

I would say, go with OnePlus 7T but in the end choice is all yours. Now, if you have any questions regarding OnePlus 7T or any other device then do let me know in the comment box below.
