Display Quality: 120Hz Charm
Like I said in the Mi 10i 5G review, the phone has great display quality but Xiaomi needs to optimize MiUi 12 for this phone because sometimes while using 120Hz refresh rate, I have seen frame drop here and there. Also, the Snapdragon 750G is a powerful chipset and it can handle a 120Hz screen.
Here, I would say, there is nothing wrong with performance but MiUi 12 needs to be optimized. That said, 120Hz refresh rate at 21k is just amazing as there are not many options available with 120Hz. So if you haven’t used 90Hz or 120Hz screen then this is going to be super excited for you because everything will feel smoother then ever.
Performance: 5G addon
Snapdragon 750G processor can handle almost everything without any problem. So there is nothing to worry about performance, the phone will give the best result while playing games or even while using social media apps as the phone has 120Hz refresh rate screen.
The phone does have 5G and this is the key selling point of Mi 10i 5G but keep in mind, the phone only supports two 5G bands and this could be an issue if you fly out of India with Mi 10i 5G and the county you’re travelling to doesn’t support those two bands.
As of now, India doesn’t have 5G but still, it needs to point out. Overall, performance won’t be an issue but two 5G bands could be thing to worry about.
Cameras: Massive 108MP Camera sensor
The Mi 10i 5G come with 108-Megapixel (Samsung HM2 sensor) quad rear camera setup featuring 8MP ultra-wide lens, 2MP Macro lens and 2MP depth sensor. Here, just forget 2MP+2MP sensors because those two sensors are just added for numbers, nothing else.
I have taken some shots with Mi 10i 5G which I will add down below. Also, I have said in the review, the phone has the best camera setup at 21k, so there is nothing to worry about cameras. Let me add one paragraph from Mi 10i 5G review,
“I’m surprised by the video quality because Xiaomi’s budget smartphone doesn’t shoot good quality videos but with Mi 10i 5G, things are charging. In shorts, there won’t be any huge problem in Video recoding or even while taking images.”
Build Quality: Marvelous
I don’t know about you but I love this rounded design, I have used OnePlus 7T and this Mi 10i 5G is also good looking smartphone. I’m not gonna say much here because the design or even UI is a personal thing, one will like and one will hate, so choose as per test.

In short, Xiaomi has done a good job in build and even design, it looks kind different than other Xiaomi devices.
Battery Life: 33W Fast Charging
Xiaomi Mi 10i 5G has 4,820 mAh (non-removable) with 33W fast charging support and yes, 33W charger is included in the box, so no need to buy separately. Now, the battery life depends on your use but this phone will give about 1-day battery life.
The phone will take around 58 minutes to charge from 0% to 100% but you have to use 33W fast charger. Mi 10i 5G has good battery but still, the phone will last for 1 day.
Keep in mind, when you use 5G, the phone will consume more battery as compared to 4G. Now, 5G is not available in India, so there won’t be any problem but when you use it, get ready to see some battery drops.
Conclusion: Worth it or not?
Xiaomi Mi 10i 5G is priced at Rs 20,999 and at this price, the phone has everything from 5G, powerful processor, 108MP camera setup, 33W fast charging support and much more. So from my side, go buy Mi 10i 5G, if your budget is about 21k.
