Xiaomi Pad 6 Accessorie

– Xiaomi Pad 6 keyboard: Rs 4,999 – Xiaomi Pad 6 case: Rs 1,499 – Xiaomi Smart Pen (2nd generation): Rs 5,999

One thing I liked about the Smart Pad (2nd Gen) is its battery life.

The 1st gen had only 5 hours of battery life while 2nd gen had a whopping 150 hours of battery life when it fully changed.

The smart pan is not as good as the Apple pencil but it's not the worst either, the latency is low and you won’t notice it while using it in day-to-day life.

Overall, Xiaomi Pad 6 has all the official accessories that a tablet should have, and this too at an affordable price.

Camera Quality

No one should buy tablets for cameras whether it's an iPad or Android Tablet. Tablets are for entertainment, office work, and video calls.

The 13MP rear camera does take good images but don’t expect that the Xiaomi Pad 6 will give you better images or videos than your smartphone.

The 8MP front camera is good too, again, it's for video calls only. Don't try to take selfies and post them on social media.

For those who are asking, the rear camera can shoot videos at 1080p@30fps and 4k@30fps while the front can shoot at 1080p@30fps.

Overall, the Xiaomi Pad 6 has good cameras for Android tablet.

Display Quality

The Xiaomi Pad 6 has an 11-inches 144Hz LCD Display with a resolution of 1800 x 2880 pixels and a peak brightness of 550 nits.

I get it, the pad has an LCD display but it's not cheap from any angle.

You will get the best experience while watching movies or TV Shows on Netflix, Prime Video, or even on Disney Plus.

What I’m saying is, an LCD display shouldn't be a deal breaker for you. However, If you want an AMOLED panel then you have to go with Samsung’s tablet.

The good news is, Xiaomi didn’t compromise on build quality this time. The pad has Aluminum Frame, Aluminum back, and Gorilla Glass 3 on the front.

Build

The bezels are not that big but they're sufficient enough to use the pad in day-to-day usage.

The moral of the story is, the Xiaomi Pad 6 has the best build under Rs 30,000 and the same goes for display as well.

Performance

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 5G is a powerful processor but the problem is, it's a very old processor and it might not get OS updates in the future.

Also, Xiaomi didn't promise any future OS updates but they did promise 3 years of security updates.

The good news is, MIUI for Pad is optimised and it has a few features that will come in handy.

For example, the charging port is Type-C 3.2 which means, you can connect the Xiaomi Pad 6 to any TV with the help of a Type-C to HDMI cable.

Also, if you want to buy this pad for gaming then go for it as the Snapdragon 870 SoC will handle all mobile games except for the Genshin Impact.

Now, the Genshin Impact will work but you won’t get the best gaming experience but the games like COD Mobile, PUBG New State, or even BGMI Mobile will work fine.

Audio

The Xiaomi Pad 6 has 4 speakers, two on top and two on bottom. The speakers are loud and clean too, it doesn't feel like cheap speakers.

Whether you want to watch movies or even YouTube Videos, you will get the best sound quality.

Battery Life

Xiaomi has added an 8,860mAh battery that supports 33W wired charging. It will take about 100 minutes to charge from 0% to 100%.

So if you’re a normal user who only uses YouTube, uses social media and OTT apps then expect about 2 days of battery life but if you're gonna play games then the Pad will only last for a day.

The charger and cable are supplied in the box.

Verdict

Xiaomi Pad 6 will change the budget tablet market for sure but till then, if you’re looking for an Android tablet under Rs 30,000 then

you don't have any other good option than the Xiaomi Pad 6 unless and until you’re using iPhone, in this case, better go with iPad 9th Gen.
