RealMe Buds Air Review with Pros and Cons

maxresdefault

RealMe just launched the Realme Buds Air in India which is Truly Wireless earphones and it kinda looks like Apple Air Pod but who cares because we got something out of the box and at the budget price range, so I’m not complaining about the design.

The RealMe Buds Air priced at Rs 3,999 and available at Flipkart and RealMe’s official website and currently it’s on flash sale, so it’s not available 24 hours. So if you want to buy these buds then do check out Flipkart or RealMe website for next flash sale.

Now let’s find out, whether this RealMe Buds Air is for you or not because it has everything which you need in wireless earphones.

Design – Copied Homework yet killed it!

Yes, this apple air pod look like earphone and priced at Rs 3,999. So if you were looking for Air Pod for Android then Realme Buds is the one you need. By the way, I have shared the image of these buds, so you get the idea about design.

Now here is the good thing, if in case you lose one earbud then you don’t need to buy all new RealMe buds and pay Rs 3,999 again because Realme has said, you can buy charging case and single earbud, so it’s great if lose one of them. For now, Realme hasn’t said the pricing for the single earbud or charging case but if anything comes out then it will be updated here.

Connectivity – Best in the class

For connectivity, Realme has used Google Fast Pair which means your RealMe Buds Air will connect faster than any other wireless earphones. By the way, Realme has also used its own R1 chip for Realme Buds Air which means, it will give fast and better sound experience whether you’re playing games or listening music.

It also has Bluetooth 5.0 support and because of that if your smartphone is in your room and if you want to go outside then this earbud still be connected till 10 meters which is very good for budget wireless earphones. One more thing, Realme buds air also sports wireless charging.

Overall, it will give you the best connectivity and you won’t get any problem.

Functions and Gestures: Almost perfect

Realme has throne lots of function in Realme buds air and I must say, for Rs 3,999 wireless earphones, you’re getting the best deal. Talking about gestures, To pause the song, you need to double-tap on buds. To change the song, you need to triple tap on buds. To active gaming mode, you need to press for 3 seconds on buds.

More on, if you take out one earbud from your ear then music will automatically stop and reason for that is, Realme has used a dedicated “wear detection” sensor, so yes it’s a cool feature.

Now let’s talk about the bad stuff, Gestures and Function are great to have in tiny earphones but if it’s not accurate then worth it and this is what I have noticed with Realme buds air.  Those double-tap and triple tap is not very accurate, you need to try those gestures for at least two or three times and then the buds will pause the song or change the song.

In short, it’s not 100% accurate and it never will but it’s good to have these features in a budget wireless earphones.

Battery Life: Not that bad

RealMe has claimed that these buds will give you 3 hours of battery backup and that charging case will give 17 hours battery life. And yes, these are the marketing numbers.

In my use, the buds last for 2.5 hours and that case lasted for around 14 to 15 hours. Now, the battery life will depend on you because if you use these buds at 100% volume then it could last for only 2 hours and if you listen music at 50% volume then it could last for 3 hours also.

So overall, it’s on you, how you use these buds. By the way, it has a Type-C port which very-very good because nowadays who uses a normal USB cable.

Sound Quality: Best for the price tag

This bud has the best sound quality at Rs 3,999. The mid-tons, high-tons, vocals, I mean all these are best in the class. So yes, you won’t get any issue while listening to music on this Realme Buds Air.

The only problem I found is bass quality. Yes, it has good bass but if you’re that guy who wants the best bass then you won’t like this RealMe buds Air because it has normal bass which is kind of good for the price they are offering but overall, it won’t give you bass like JBL C100TWS.

So if you want only the best sound quality and bass quality and you don’t need Realme buds Air functions then yes JBL C100TWS is the earphone you are looking for.

Conclusion: RealMe Buds Air Review with Pros and Cons

I think you got the point and if not then let me tell you something…

First thing, RealMe Buds Air has tons of features that you won’t find in any wireless earphone and keep in mind this one is priced at rs 3,999, so you can’t compare this one with Apple Air Pod. The sound quality is also great but the bass is not very high that doesn’t mean, it has very bad bass quality, it just that, this won’t give you very high bass.

As I have said, if you don’t need the Realme Buds Air feature and you just want the best sound and bass quality then any day JBL C100TWS is the earphone is the one you need.

If I conclude this Review in simple words, RealMe buds Air is the best value for money product and you won’t regret buying this product.
