As we have talked in the previews article, all those things are here with MIUI 12. MIUI OS has completed the 10 years and to celebrate that Xiaomi has announced the MIUI 12 which will come out very soon in your Xiaomi branded smartphones. This new version of MIUI has something different from the previous version. So let’s see what new Xiaomi has added this time…
Update 29th April 2020 at 08:21 AM Xiaomi is working on MIUI 13, I’m not even joking, Xiaomi has added a dedicated page on their website for feedback. So If you wanted some feature in MIUI but didn’t get in MIUI 11 or 12 then you can visit Xiaomi’s website and submit your feedback.
Android 11 stable version is not out yet and that’s why MIUI 12 is running on Android 10 but once Google releases the stable version, Xiaomi will add some new features.
MIUI 12 Features
Talking about MIUI 12, we have the all-new dark mode. As per Xiaomi, this new dark mode will give better battery life and will look way batter then what MIUI 11 has.
1] Widely used Animation
The one thing Xiaomi points out is animation, I mean they have implemented smooth animation to each task.
For example, if you close the app, you will see app icon animation in the icon itself. Also, if you unlock the smartphone, you know what you will see, the animation. Xiaomi has added animation in every task and believes me, what I have seen, Xiaomi as did a great job with MIUI 12.
2] Xiaomi’s Health App
You know, if you put your phone next to your bad then it can affect your brand in the long term but Xiaomi is like, let’s forget about that. Mi Health has a sleep monitor feature and you don’t need any other gadget other than your phone, you just need to put your phone under your pillow. Isn’t that great… jokes aside, do let me know what you think about this feature.
3] Always-on Display
Of course, MIUI 12 also has some new always-on display animation and icon placement which could some people very happy and I’m one of them. Personally, I don’t like MIUI but I will use this new version once it’s out, let’s see how it turns out.
4] MIUI 12 Release Date
We also got some improvement in the system, new icons. Xiaomi MIUI 12 will be available for China in June 2020 yet we don’t have any idea when Xiaomi will announce MIUI 12 for India. Whenever Xiami decides to announce, I will add all the details right here.
