Is it Worth Buying Vivo V20 Pro 5G?

Is it Worth Buying Vivo V20 Pro 5G

Vivo uses to launch the smartphone at a very high price but things are changing as Vivo V20 Pro 5G launched at Rs 29,999 in India. The phone has powerful Snapdragon 765G SoC and it’s running on Funtouch 11-based on Android 10. It also has a triple rear camera setup featuring 64MP primary sensor, 8MP ultra-wide lens and 2MP depth sensor while there is 44MP + 8MP dual selfie camera setup.

Is it Worth Buying Vivo V20 Pro 5G?

Yes, Vivo V20 Pro 5G is worth buying because the phone has powerful Snapdragon 765G SoC and it also has superb camera setup which makes this phone great value for money device. The phone does have it’s cons but overall at Rs 29,999, there is nothing more to complain about.

Cameras

The Vivo V20 Pro 5G has triple rear camera setup and for the first time, I feel, Vivo has done a good job with the camera set up in the budget segment. It also has 44MP + 8MP dual front camera setup which is also bonus add-on. If the camera is your highest priority then don’t look for anything else, Vivo V20 Pro could be a great option for you.

Performance

There is nothing more to talk about performance because the Snapdragon 765G is great chipset, it can run almost all the mobile games without any problem and there won’t be any issue in day to day use.

Battery Life

This is where the thing gets tricky, the phone has only 4,000mAh battery which is not the great thing to have in a smartphone because the phone will be dead before you go to bed. Vivo could have provided a 5,000mAh battery but decided to give a small battery and launched a slim smartphone. Still, the phone support 33W fast charging support, this will make thing easier.

Software

Vivo has recently launched Origin OS in China but there is no update for India launch yet but as of now, Vivo V20 Pro 5G is running on Funtouch OS 11-based on Android 10 and as per Vivo, the phone will get Android 11 by the end of December 2020.

Conclusion

If you want good camera setup and powerful performance and if you’re okay with the OLD design and smaller battery then yes, Vivo V20 Pro 5G is worth buying. Do note, OnePlus Nord is also priced at Rs 26,999 and this phone also has the same chip but OnePlus Nord doesn’t have the best camera which makes easier choose Vivo V20 Pro 5G over OnePlus Nord.

Now, when you buy Vivo V20 Pro 5G, you will lose out on premium design, Oxygen OS but if you buy OnePlus Nord then you will save three thousand, lose out on cameras and that’s it.
