Is it Worth Buying Vivo V17 Pro

Vivo V17 Pro launched

The Vivo V17 Pro is powered by 11 nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 processor with Adreno 612 GPU and Kryo 460 CPU, it’s running on Funouch 9 based on Android 9.0 (Pie). The Vivo V17 Pro comes with 6.44-inches AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 by 2400 Pixels and the Vivo V17 Pro is priced at Rs 29,999 for 8 GB and 128 GB inbuilt storage coupled with 4,100 mAh battery.

Is it Worth Buying Vivo V17 Pro

The Vivo V17 Pro is not worth buying at all. I mean Vivo is offering Snapdragon 675 at Rs 29,999, yes its overpriced smartphone. I won’t recommend you to buy this device at this price point. By the way, Vivo V17 Pro has the same processor which is currently present on Vivo V15 Pro.

Now if you are one of those people who only want to buy Vivo branded phone then wait for 29th September 2019 because Vivo V17 Pro will go for sale via Amazon India website on 29th September 2019 at noon.

Now before you made your decision, let’s find out what’s new Vivo has to offer with Vivo V17 Pro.

Cameras

The Vivo V17 Pro comes with a quad-camera setup featuring 48-megapixel primary (f/1.8), an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens with an F/2.2 aperture, a 13-megapixel telephoto lens with an F/2.5 aperture, and 2-megapixel depth sensor with an F/2.4 aperture. On the front side, it has a 32-megapixel sensor with F/2.0 aperture and 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens with F/2.2 aperture.

Now there is no doubt, Vivo V17 Pro has good camera setup. By the way, it also has pop-up dual selfie camera setup which means that dual camera setup will give great camera quality.

Just wanted to add, the camera is good on this device but it doesn’t worth the Rs 29,99 price tag. You can whether choose Redmi K20 Pro or OnePlus 7 or buy Vivo V17 Pro, by the way, the choice is all yours, if you want to pay 30k for Snapdragon 675.

Performance

As I have said, the Vivo V17 Pro is powered by 11 nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 processor with Adreno 612 GPU and Kryo 460 CPU, it’s running on Funouch 9 based on Android 9.0 (Pie). We have already seen this processor on Redmi Note 7 Pro, Vivo V15 Pro and both the device has performed well in gaming as well as on day to day uses.

So there is no question regarding performance. Yes, Snapdragon 675 is the good budget chipset but it doesn’t worth the Rs 29,999 price.

Battery

The smartphone has 4,100 mAh non-removable battery with 18W fast charging support and yes it has Type-C port. I won’t say anything about battery because the battery will depend on your daily uses, but still, it will give one-day battery life, if you are a normal user.

Price and Availability

As of now, the Vivo V17 Pro is available in Midnight Ocean, Glacier Ice color options. If you want to buy Vivo V17 Pro, the phone is sold via Amazon India website and it will go for sale on 29th September 2019 at noon.

Conclusion

As I have said Vivo V17 pro is not worth at Rs 29,999 but still if you want Vivo Branded phone then go with it. Now for those who want to buy a smartphone under 30k, then you can take a look at Redmi K20 Pro, Redmi K20, RealMe XT, OnePlus 7 (₹32,999).
