Is it Worth buying Samsung Galaxy A51?
NO, the Galaxy A51 is not worth buying at Rs 24,999. The phone has Exynos 9611, Quad camera setup with 48MP sensor, 15W fast charging support, AMOLED display and I would say, Galaxy A51 is not worth the 25k price tag but still, if you want Samsung branded phone at 24k then you can consider this Galaxy A51.
Samsung Galaxy A51: Performance
The Galaxy A51 is powered by Exynos 9611 which is built on 10 nm technology with Mali-G72 MP3 GPU, it’s running on OneUI 2.0 based on Android 10. Now if you compared this Exynos 9611 with Snapdragon 712 then any day, that Snapdragon 712 is much better then Exynos 9611.
As of now, we have tons of smarphone companies which is offering better value for money phones under 15k, so why you want to spend eight thousand more for the same phone. If you’re looking for a new phone then I would say take a look at newly launched POCO X2 which will give better and best performance then Galaxy A51.
Samsung Galaxy A51: Cameras
Galaxy A51 comes with a 48MP primary sensor, 12MP ultra-wide sensor, 5MP depth sensor, and 5MP macro lens. On the front side, it has a 32MP sensor that is present on the infinity-O display.
Given cameras are not that bad, it will give you good picture quality under good sunlight and even under low lighting conditions, Galaxy A51 won’t let you down. Overall, it has a good camera setup. Still, I would say, POCO X2 has better camera setup and will give better images and video quality then Galaxy A51.
Even Realme X2 will give you better image quality then Galaxy A51. So as I have said, this is Samsung branded phone and if you like Samsung brand then this phone has the best camera but if you want a better camera then Galaxy A51 then you do have tons of options to choose from.
Samsung Galaxy A51: Build Quality & Battery
The phone is packed with a 4,000 mAh non-removable battery with 15W fast charging support and yes, Samsung did supply 15W charger in the box. As I said in the Galaxy A71 article,
“As I have said, the battery life depends on your phone use, if you every day play games for 6 hours then you need to charge a phone every 6 hours but if you’re like me and don’t use the phone very often then it will last for a day.”
Talking about build quality, the phone has plastic build quality. Now the build quality depends on your personal preference. Overall, galaxy A51 has good quality but you can’t compare with glass build.
Conclusion:
I don’t think, now I need to say much but still, if you want Samsung branded phone at 24k then Galaxy A51 is the phone you’re looking but if you don’t care about the brand then we do have POCO X2, RealMe X2, and many options to choose from.
