Like me, if you’re a Marvel fan then you must be very excited. Yes, you heard it right, Disney finally launched its Display Plus streaming service in India and yes, it’s integrated with Hotstar. So if you have Hotstar Premium then now you will able to use Disney plus in the app itself.
Update 12th March 2020 at 12:46 PM Hotstar removed the Disney Plus Logo and entire tab from Hotstar app and the same thing happened with Web version. Disney Plus was there with app version 9.9.0 but with new app version 9.9.3, they removed the Disney plus tab and also the Disney Plus original shows and Movies are also gone. If anything comes up new, we will update you.
Update 3rd April 2020 at 01:42 PM Finally, Disney Plus is officially launched in India and yes it’s integrated with Hotstart app. The price for current annual plans is changed too, I will add new price details down below.
- Hotstar + Disney Plus: Rs 399 for Year
- Hotstar Premium now costs Rs 1,399 for Year and this include everything which is available on Hotstar VIP, Disney+ and Premium Content.
The price for Disney plus is the same as what you’re paying for Hotstar premium. Now if you don’t have Hotstart premium yet then you have to pay Rs 999 and you will get all the Disney plus shows as well as Hotstart premium shows. Of course, if you don’t want to spend Rs 999 then still, you can buy Hostert VIP subscription (Rs 365 for the year).
With the new Disney Plus update, you will get all the TV shows and movie which isn’t preset earlier on Hotstar.
Disney+ Hotstar — including movies such as Captain America: Civil War, Doctor Strange, Cars 3, Atlantis: The Lost Empire, and A Bug’s Life, and TV shows in Gravity Falls, Timon & Pumbaa, Disney The Lion Guard, much more.
It also has recent arrival, The Lion King, The Mandalorian, The jungle book, Disney Aladdin, TOGO, Pixer in real life, Noelle, Lady and tramp, lamp life, one day at Disney, shop class, and many more.
The upcoming shows will come the same day as the US.
