Samsung just launched the Samsung Galaxy M40 in India, as we have expected it has the triple rear-facing camera setup and all the other information was shared by Samsung India YouTube channel before the launch. So let’s check out the latest M series smartphone that might be your next device.

Samsung Galaxy M40 Specifications

The Samsung Galaxy M40 comes with a 6.30-inches Full HD+ display with a resolution of 1080 pixels by 2340 (409 ppi density) and yes it has the infinity O display which menas you will get extra screen space to use. And yes the display, not AMOLED, so yes it’s kind downgrade form Galaxy M30 but still, LCD panel is also looking very good.

Samsung also removed the 3.5 mm audio jack but the good thing is they included type-C earphones in the box but there is no converter supplied in the box. Under the hood, the galaxy M40 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 which is built on 10 nm technology with Adreno 612 GPU and Octa-Core 2×2.0 GHz Kryo 460 Gold & 6×1.7 GHz Kryo 460 Silver CPU, it runs on One UI based on Android Pie.

The smartphone is packed with a 3,500 mAh non-removable battery with 15W fast charging support. Talking about cameras, the Galaxy comes with a triple rear camera setup featuring  32-megapixel primary sensor with F/1.8 aperture, an 8-megapixel  12 mm ultrawide lens with F/2.2 aperture, and 5-megapixel depth sensor with F/2.2 aperture. On the front, it may have 32-megapixel punch hole, selfie shooter.

Galaxy M40 Price & sale date

The device will be exclusive on Amazon IN and it will go on sale on 18 June 2019 at 12:00 PM. For now, the Samsung Galaxy M40 is available in one variant, 6 GB of Ram and 128 GB internal storage and priced at Rs 19,999. You can expend  Storage via a micro-SD card up to 512 GB.
