Micromax is back in the smartphone market with newly launched Micromax IN Note 1 and IN 1B. Both of these smartphones are budget centric, so you have to wait for a true premium mid-budget smartphone but these two phones are also great because the price is a key factor here.

Micromax IN Note 1 and IN 1B India Price
Micromax IN Note 1 price in India starts from Rs 10,999 for 4GB of Ram and 64GB storage while 4GB of Ram and 128GB version is priced at Rs 12,499. The phone will be available from 26th November 2020 at noon via Flipkart website.
Micromax IN 1B price in India starts from Rs 6,999 for 2GB of Ram and 32GB storage while 4GB of Ram and 64GB version is priced at Rs 7,999 and this too will be available from 24th November 2020 at noon via Flipkart website.

Micromax IN Note 1 Specifications
Micromax IN Note 1 comes with 6.67 inches FHD+ display with 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution and this has 60Hz screen refresh rate. The phone also has a punch-hole display which you can see in the middle of the phone. Micromax has used glass on the front side but they didn’t mention which kind of glass they have used while there is the plastic back and the frame is also made of plastic.

Under the hood, Micromax IN Note 1 is powered by MediaTek Helio G85 processor and it’s running on Android 10, the phone doesn’t have custom OS, it’s running on pure stock UI.
Talking about the camera, on the rear side, 48 MP Primary Sensor + 5 MP Ultra-Wide Lens + 2 MP Depth + 2 MP Macro while there 16MP selfie shooter. Both the camera can shoot videos in 1080p@30fps. The phone also has huge 5,000 mAh battery with 18W fast charging support and the 18W charger is also supplied in the box.
The phone also has Two SIM card + dedicated micro SD card and rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.
Micromax IN 1B Specifications
Micromax IN 1B is an affordable smartphone. The phone comes with 6.50-inches LCD HD+ display with 720 x 1500 pixels resolution and this too has 60Hz screen refresh rate. IN 1B is powered by MediaTek Helio G35 processor and it’s running on the same stock Android 10 and this will get Android 11 update very soon.

Coming to the camera department, it has 13MP primery sensor + 2MP depth sensor while there is 8MP selfie shooter and this too can shoot videos in 1080p@30fps. The phone has 5,000 mAh battery with 10W charging support and yes, it has Type-C port for charging.
There is also Two SIM card + dedicated micro SD card and rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.
Micromax IN Note 1 and IN 1B: Conclusion
I didn’t think that Micromax will launch both of these smartphones at this price range and now I think, Micromax IN Note 1 and IN 1B are the best option below 10k in India. Both of these phones are running on Android 10 and there is no ads or additional apps pre-loaded. Also, Micromax has confirmed the both these phones will get two years of updates.
Should you by Micromax IN Note 1 and IN 1B?
I can’t tell right now because I have tested out the camera but everything else is just perfect. Micromax has done a good job this time. I will post a review for both of these phones after some time because I have to test the camera and everything else, so wait for the review and then order one.
